Our place is close to the beautiful market towns of Llangollen, Ruthin and Betwys-y-Coed. Outstanding views just outside the cottage, great for lovers of Nature..., so many family-friendly activities nearby, including mountains, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, forests and beaches, most within 5 to 50 mins!. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers and families with a kid (kids at a push)

The space

Ty Cerrig cottage is south-facing, overlooking the Berwyn Mountains, providing breathtaking views.
There are stunning walks direct from the cottage door including the 32mile Brenig Way.. a Walkers paradise.
Details can be given on arrival.

Inside the cottage is warm and cosy, with everything required for a relaxing retreat. If you do however need to stay connected, there is good WiFi! Please note that there is a spiral staircase up to the second bedroom and that the bathroom/loo is en suite to the master bedroom.

Guest access

Guests have full and private use of the cottage together with dedicated parking spaces. The cottage also benefits from a huge garden with table and chairs and BBQ for outdoor dining, weather permitting!

Interaction with guests

We live next door, will meet and greet our guests and are generally on hand to offer tips and advice about the local area. Dan offers fresh bread and farm eggs to new guests if your arrival time coincides with baking time!
The nearest local shops are ten minutes away however TESCO will deliver direct to the door if you are staying for more than a few days!

Other things to note

The cottage is RURAL but not isolated.
It is surrounded by farmland and any dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times.

14th century Barn renovated to a lovely standard. The location is beautiful with stunning views, and walks nearby. Would highly recommend staying here. Dan was very lovely and helpful. Great stay!

This cottage is in a lovely quiet area with excellent views. Has everything you need for a peaceful stay. My niece loved the electric keyboard which kept her entertained. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay but not to far from places to get out and about.

Response from Alison:
Hi Louise. thank you for the lovely review, and I'm pleased the keyboard got used! We have FIXED the TV connection -it turned out that the satellite cable had been cut by an over excited hedge trimmer! It has now been fixed and the TV can screen all FREESAT channels.

The cottage is nestled in the verdant hills of Betws-Gwerfil-Goch and it has stunning views of the valley. The cottage itself is located facing away from the main house and has it's own entrance so it feels very private and quiet. The Kitchen and En-suite have most major mod-cons including a washing machine which was very useful. The Master bedroom is very comfortable and there is plenty of storage if you are staying a while. The sitting room is upstairs adjacent to the childs bedroom and has very comfortable furniture especially good to relax on after a long walk! This is the ideal location to stay for a bit longer if you are looking to explore the stunning North Wales area, highly recommended!

Lovely views...really quiet location. Lots of space, private and secluded. Lovely private garden and good parking space. My 12 year old son had the top floor which he enjoyed..however the spiral staircase on this level is quite tight for space! We slept in the master bedroom and we where very comfortable. It was a nice relaxing break and we would like to come again.

This place is stunning! Gorgeous little 16th-century cottage in a lovely location. Some things to note: the cottage is tucked away up quite a windy narrow lane, so a decent car is necessary. The cottage does have quite a few daddy long legs around, so if harmless spiders bother you this may not be the place for you. Also, phone signal is minimal and the wifi is good but is a little patchy in the downstairs bedroom. If you want a quiet, clean, well-appointed cottage to relax in, this is the place for you!

We had a fantastic stay with Alison. (Who was a great host!) The cottage was lovely on arrival and we were greeted by the friendly Dexter the dog! It was exactly what we wanted for our girls weekend away! Great detailed instructions on how to get to the cottage. Definitely coming again soon!

Response from Alison:
Thanks for the lovely review. We are just about to buy some new bedroom furniture and rugs etc to make the cottage even cosier for the winter.. Hope to see you all again, I'll try and stop Dexter from stealing your sausages next time!.

Great location for exploring North Wales. Quiet location with only the sound of sheep and fabulous views. The cottage was well set out and we were provided with everything we might need for a trip away from home, from toiletries to tea bags to help with a good nights sleep. Would definitely stay here again.

Hi
I would be delighted to welcome you to this charming Studio Apartment in the heart of Primrose Hill, NW3London.
I live just a few minutes walk from the property and work locally as a property manager.. Needless to say the flat is therefore in great condition and I will be on call to make your stay as fantastic as possible.
My partner Daniel will probably be the one to welcome you to our lovely Welsh cottage, built in the fifteenth century, in an idyllic setting.
