Very nice house with plenty of space, and well kept. Location was great. Can walk to the Capitol in about 20 minutes. Very close to Union Station, as well as lots of restaurants and two grocery stores. One private parking spot is available on-site, and they had another placard for on-street parking, which worked out very well. Check-in was easy, and communication with hosts was good. They provide a nice binder with information about the house and surrounding area. The house is three-stories, and we needed all the space. But the lowest level can be used as a stand alone apartment. It has a kitchen, full bath, and laundry. Highly recommend this house.

The house and basement apartment made my family's trip for my mom's 60th birthday easy and comfortable. The location and proximity to the sights of DC in addition to the ease of use of public transportation made this home an excellent choice. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to find everything we needed. The grocery store is within walking distance (2 blocks) and so we were able to easily make our own meals (with a dishwasher!). The beds and linens were clean and comfy. Highly recommended for your stay in DC!

Great location with free streetcar to nearby Union Station. Plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and two grocery stores made this an ideal home for our group for the weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

We were in DC for my nephew's graduation from GW so we didn't spend much time in the house, but found it very comfortable and exactly as pictured. It is well maintained, clean with attractive decor and located in a nice residential area. I can't comment on restaurants or other features of the neighborhood since almost all meals were pre-arranged events. But, I would recommend a 15 minute walk to Jimmy T's Place for breakfast. Great chance to check out row home architecture and a lovely park ending in a very entertaining place to eat.

This is a great place to stay to get a flavor of living in DC. The house is exactly as described. The neighborhood is friendly and safe. If you are a suburbanite who is used to driving your car everywhere, you will want to adapt to walking a little bit since parking is at premium like all cities. However, you soon find you do not need a car. Within a block, there is a Whole Foods and a Giant grocery store that have a variety of pre-made meals for those on the go. Or you can make your own meals with the up-dated and convenient appliances in this house. You are within walking distance of the north end of the mall for visiting the Capitol or the museums. Or, you can take the Metro, the Circulator or the bus which all stop nearby. Of course, there is always Uber. Our group was there for the burial of our father at Arlington. We had folks from the ages of 69 to 18 moths and there was something for everyone nearby. We had 9 people in our group and there was plenty of accommodations, beds, bathrooms and living space for everyone in the house. We all would recommend this house.
