My place is close to Downtown San Diego,
Little Italy Farmers Market, Padres Stadium, Gaslamp Quarters, Balboa Park, Petco Park, Old Town
San Diego Harbor, Golden Hill Farmers Market and more! You’ll love my place because of our farm setting in the heart of the city! We have chickens, an orchard and a huge garden all with views of downtown San Diego. My place is good for solo adventurers looking to enjoy the city and still have a place to "unplug" after.

The space

We have one of the few Urban farms here in San Diego. Our home sits up on a hill giving you great views of the sunset over the San Diego Sky line. We are a 5$ uber or lyft ride to downtown and many of San Diego's most prized locations.

Guest access

We like to allow our whole home to be accessible to our guest. We have a large enjoyable kitchen, an amazing wrap around patio and a huge living room. We like to enjoy our guests as our own houseguest and hope to take a away a friendship!

Interaction with guests

We love offering recommendations and tips to make your fun!

Other things to note

Although we love to party and have fun, this is a family household and we expect our guest to be responsible in their consumption of alcohol.

We had a great stay at Brijette and Roger’s place. Brijette was very responsive before we checked in. Roger was very knowledgeable about fun things to do and good places to eat. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. Uber and Lyft rides were fairly cheap and convenient to get down town and even as far as La Jolla. I would recommend staying here!

Brijette's place was close to the freeway, and also close to Gaslamp as well as the SD zoo, so that was an extra plus for us. The room was clean and we didn't have any issues with parking or check in. Also, their cat was pretty awesome. I would recommend their place to anyone spending a few nights in San Diego.

This is a great room if you want beautiful views of San Diego and a quiet place to work or rest. The cat was so friendly. The plugs were ungrounded (only two prongs) so be prepared with an adapter if you have a three pronged electronic.

Roger and Brigette's place is a really good spot and certianly unique. Bees, chickens and fruit and veg. I was working at UCSD and seeing as the house is right next to the freeway, it's easy to get around San Diego by car. They were very welcoming and friendly and made for great hosts for my stay.

Unique place and special host! Brijette's place is close to downtown, if you want to check SD nightlife and restaurants and great for relaxing afterwards. Brigitte's is compassionate and caring. If I return to SD I will be staying with Brijette without a doubt.

Brijette and Roger were wonderful hosts - very welcoming, accommodating, helpful, and fun to get to know. Their place is a true urban homestead with crops, bees, chickens, responsible water use, etc, and if that appeals to you, you are likely the type of person who will get along exceptionally well with them. The hill-top west view from their porch was relaxing with many comfortable chairs to enjoy it. There is only one bathroom shared among all, but they are early risers and I had no problems with shower access. There was no AC but with open windows at night, the room was comfortable even with a bit of freeway noise. Uber and Lyft were readily available and about $5 each way to the convention center. I would especially recommend their place as a nice retreat for convention goers and anyone who likes a bit of country life in the city.

I am a local San Diego business women, farm owner and operator and lover of all things tasty! Food is close to my heart and so are bees, chickens and my kitty NaPali. I like adventures, meeting other people from around the world and good wine. As a Airbnb host I like for guest…
