Everything was perfect. A very homely apartment in a great location, right across from the markets and close to everything

Staying at Leyla's apartment was the ultimate travel experience! Superb location in the vibrant bustling centre of beautiful Dijon, with access to the delights of the covered market just metres away, as well as convenient supermarkets, cafes etc and the Owl's trail adjacent too. Vistas from every window were a photographer's delight and church chimes added to the atmosphere - but there was night time serenity with windows closed. All the comforts and convenience of home and more - what a character filled home! Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Leyla but communications online and by text and key pickup with her friend were effortless and efficient. Highly recommended (and enjoy the trip up those 3 flights of winding stairs)

You simply cannot find a better-located apartment to visit Dijon. It's right at the centre of everything. Although it's just across the big central market (a great place to visit on its own, surrounded by restaurants and cafés), it's a quiet apartment and we've slept very well. Everything is there for a wonderful stay, and there's definitely a 'homy' feel about Leyla's place. She was very easy to deal with, flexible, and gave us a warm welcome. Highly recommended.

Leyla's appartment is a charming little place located right in the center of Dijon and in front of the central market place. Yet, it is really quiet and good for those who like to sleep-in. The appartment has a lot of light and nice views of the surroundings. It has everything you might need to spend some days visiting this beautiful city. Leyla welcomes you really into her life, with lots of interesting books to browse through and nice decorations. The only drawback for some might be the bed, which is not too soft and lies close to the ground. If this doesn't bother you, don't hesitate to consider taking Leyla's appartment for your next Dijon visit!

Leyla was a very good host. Everything was well prepared: It was easy to pick up the key and find the apartment and it was nice and clean. The apartment itself is a lovely little place right in the heart of Dijon - between the market hall and Notre Dame. I would definitely go there again.

Leyla is a gracious host who responded promptly to inquiries leading up to our stay in her apartment and during our stay. Before our arrival, she had indicated that there would be a set of instructions on the dinning room table for us and true to her word we found a personalised note to us. Only a 15 minute walk or 20 minute stroll from the railway station, the apartment was easy to find and instructions about how to obtain the keys were clear and helpful. Leyla's apartment is clean, tidy and perfectly appointed. Her kitchen is well equipped for people who prefer to self-cater rather than eat out. This made it a joy for us to stay in. The decor is inspired by a Leyla's obvious love of the arts. The apartment is just by the Gustav Eiffel built produce market, making shopping for local produce for breakfast, lunch or dinner very easy. Even so, Leyla provided an number of recommendations for local restaurants. The streets just below the apartment have many good quality and not too expensive dining out options, most of them authentically Bourgogne. Also close to her apartment are bars, supermarkets and a bakery around the corner for freshly baked baguettes for breakfast. This centrally located apartment makes it easy to access all the local tourist sites, within a short walk. The self-guided 'Owl Tour' passes by only a block from the apartment. It is also close to Notre Dame, Place de La Libération and the Museum of Fine Arts. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it as an escape for couples. Remember to eat Beouf Bourgogne, Coq au Vin and Dijon's Escargot. Sample a little or a lot of wine and if you are there in winter Vin Chaud (mulled wine). Have an aperitif of Kir made from Crème de Cassis de Dijon. Sample lots of different cheeses by buying small quantities at market. Dijon is not the place to start a diet. Go with an appetite.
