Other things to note

As someone from Barcelona, I recommend you to visit the whole city, or almost the whole city on foot. One thing that surprises me most about Barcelona is precisely that never stops to amaze. I can end up going to the supermarket and down in the street, the one that I always pass and suddenly I find a modernist detail which I have not seen before, or a beautiful glazed hidden in a house. That's great! And magical as well ...

The neighborhood of Sant Antoni is one of those of which boast beautiful goals with floral motifs, borders, details that give character to Barcelona. The terraces are also a must in the city and particularly in this area. Do not doubt to walk around the Parlament Street and drink or eat something.
Paral·lel Avenue is also very close. Famous for its theaters and nightlife during the early twentieth century and, although declining, during the 50s, the Paral·lel lived during decades ago back to Barcelona. But luckily the council has initiated a plan to give back to the splendor that this steet had a century before. And icons as "El Molino", the Teatre Apollo or Victoria have resurfaced strongly. The avenue begins at Plaça Espanya and ends at the Port of Barcelona.

Great location! If you like walking, it's within walking distance to everything! There's plenty of space and three well sized bedrooms. It could easily fit a group of six. It is a little noisy at night (you can hear people on the street or neighbors flushing a toilet) but I think that comes with the location and age/style of the buildings in Barcelona. Overall, we'd stay there again!

The apartment was great—very comfortable and the location was convenient. Veronica was very flexible with check-in timing and met us to let us in and go over everything. Would definitely book with her again if returning to Barcelona.

I stayed in Marius and Vero's place for 3 nights with my Dad and sister while visiting Barcelona. Leading up to our stay communication was fast and clear. Although they were out of town when we arrived they arranged for a friend to greet us at the apartment, give us the walk-through and ensure everything was ok, which it was. The apartment was exactly as described and super clean. The neighborhood was safe with some great food options (definitely go to Lolita Tapería and order the salted shrimp!). We walked to Placa de Catalunya in about 15 min and Placa de España was even closer. Taxis were also easy to hail. I would stay there again without thinking twice.

Very nice apartment for three people in a lively neighbourhood. Close to the metro. The kitchen is a bit small, but well equipped. The apartment also has two air conditioners. Great apartment with a suitable price. Recommended.

I selected this apartment after reading the good reviews and am happy to add another for Marius and Vero's place. It was very well situated in Barcelona--walking distance to many important travel sites (the train station, various metro and bus lines) and in a neighborhood that didn't feel touristy but rather where people of Barcelona just live. There is a supermarket (a Dia) around the corner and many bars and restaurants to grab a drink and a pinxo. The apartment itself was lovely--clean, spacious, and with a very nice patio to relax in. I was very happy to stay here and if I return to Barcelona (as I plan to do in May for a conference) I will look to see if this apartment is available again.

Marius and Vero were excellent with communication. Their friend checked us in and he was great with communication as well! The apartment was very spacious, clean, and in a great location! If you need a hair dryer, make sure you bring your own since the one there doesn't stay on longer than about 30 seconds at a time. That's such a minor thing, though. Everything else was perfect!
