What a perfect location for our family reunion! Long beach -filled days, crystal clear Georgian Bay waters, sunset dinners on the huge deck, followed by evening board games around the big wooden table with a crackling fire in the wood burning fireplace. Cottage is ver charming, mixing old nostalgia with functionality. Kitchen was well stocked, rooms well laid out and 2 good sized, towel-filled bathrooms where a necessity for our crew. Nearly perfect!!!! Open concept ceiling in 4 of 6 bedrooms and no lock on downstairs bathroom door made for a few whoopsie situations and a lot of laughter.

Lovely views, great beach. The cottage is clean and very large. Communication with the hosts is great! They had answers for all of my questions. As some reviews have mentioned, there is poison ivy on the property, but if you stay on the path, it's easily avoidable.

This cottage had everything - comfortable beds, dishwasher, washer and dryer, easy access to the beautiful beach, shady deck, rec room, private bedroom, and bathroom downstairs. Three generations all had a fabulous time. Also, this cottage is close to some good walks (Awenda Prov. park, Tiny Marsh, Wye Marsh) and activities such as Saint Marie among the Hurons and Castle Village. I would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful location and Rebecca was very helpful. Brought us over an iron on short notice to iron our shirts for the wedding we were attending that weekend!

This location was great. Quick drive from toronto. Right on the beach and it was private. The beach was sandy and we could walk out for about 100 meters. Great for kids. Issue: the little forest we had to walk through to get to the beach was full of poison ivy. Rebecca did what she could to manage it but it wasn't idea with 3 kids under 5. The bedrooms are functional- but note- they're open up top. Helps keep them cool but if you have any light sleepers there are two rooms (one upstairs one down) that are "closed". Loved having access to a washer and dryer and dishwasher! Lots of mousquitos so come prepared :) great family vacation spot.

Rebecca's cabin is perfectly located on a private sandy beach, about an hour and a half drive from Toronto. The location is perfect for anyone wanting an easy beach access away from the crowds. The area is quite scenic, and we would have enjoyed our stay to the fullest if not the weather that was unseasonably cold. That said, it was nice to have a large would burning fireplace at our disposal. A central air conditioner is present, which would have been a great plus if the weather was hot. For a large cottage right on the beach, the value was fair. The house has a rustic feel, and the views from the deck are great. Rebecca and Jason were most accommodating, and helped with tips about the area. On the negative side, I would say that while the cabin technically can accommodate 12 people, privacy for 8 of those 12 is not great. The house has a full bedroom in the basement, and another one on the main level. The rest are bunk beds arranged in 4 smaller stalls in the living. They all have locking doors, but the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling, so soundproofing is essentially absent. Poison ivy was not a problem for us, although it is present around the property. I would recommend keeping the sliding glass deck door closed at night, because of the animals in the area. We have left it open once, and a raccoon found its way in through the anti mosquito net. The dishwasher was not working during our week stay, and could not be fixed. With those minor caveats, I would still recommend the property wholeheartedly.
