We are 5 min from the Thorndale redline "L" stop.

Our vintage, private 3 bedroom 2 bathroom 2000 sq ft apartment in Magnolia Glen is blocks from Chicago's Northshore restaurants, beaches, green spaces, nightlife and fun.

Also walking distance from Broadway Cellars, Loving Hut, Ras Dashen Ethiopian Restaurant, Mas Alla del Sol, and a Whole Foods.

Awesome location and lots of windows. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

The space

Perfect home base for your large group while you catch the sights, tastes, and history of this great city.

Our vintage 1914 building is full of style and charm. This 3 bedroom 2 full bath unit has 2000 sq ft, 7 beds (1 queen, 1 full, 1 twin, 1 twin fold out, 1 futon, 1 large couch, and 1 full blow up mattress) for you to make yourself at home. Step among the trees into our large front window room and look unobstructed up and down one of Chicago's quint streets.

Guest access

Enter the building and use the lockbox to get the keys. Unlock the door in front of you and head up one flight of stairs to the unit. Spread out into ample space or stand in the windowed sun room and have an unobstructed view of the block. Feeling hungry? Use the in unit kitchen and make a meal or snack. Wash your clothes in the onsite free washer / dryer.

Step outside and enjoy a little green space in the city on our large patio in back where you can grill, warm yourself by a fire, and make new friends.

Interaction with guests

I will be staying at my friends house who are a 15 min walk or 5 min drive away. Feel free to reach out to me and I can help with any tips or advice on the area. Monday through Friday during business hours I work in Chicago's loop so it is harder to see me in person; but it is easy to get in touch with me through the app, by phone, or email.

Other things to note

You DO NOT need a permit to park in our area. All parking is curbside parking and is often pretty good during daylight hours. After 7-8pm things get more difficult but not impossible. Weekends are a little better. There are tons of transportation alternatives too.

This was the perfect place for my family to stay while in Chicago. The apt was immaculate, well organized, and Bryan was extremely helpful and responsive. I thought I might need an iron, and when we asked him, he showed us he had one we could use. He made terrific suggestions for restaurants in the area. He had a binder with lots of helpful information in the apt. Overall, a great place to stay.

This was a lovely place, a welcoming, light, and well-organized apartment. We enjoyed that it was near good restaurants and we could walk out to the lake. All Bryan's info within the apartment was easy to navigate and he kept in touch with us throughout our stay. I definitely recommend staying here!

Great little spot in Edgewater. Walling distance to grocery and restaurants. Beautiful neighborhood feel. Very safe little area. Place was giant! Well equipped and Bryan responds in minutes. Highly recommend for families and groups. Will stay again.

This location is perfect for those traveling with large groups. High ceiling, massive rooms for gathering and games. The unit, while older, has a lot of character and was well decorated , well supplied, and was extremely functional. The unit was also very close to downtown Chicago to the Magnificent Mile (15 min drive ~ 15-20$ uber ride). I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Bryan User ProfileBryan is a superhost.

While I was born in Tulsa Oklahoma, I have lived in Chicago most of my life except for a few college years in Austin Texas.

I have been to most of the lower 48 states within the US of A and visited Toronto, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta while in the Western Hemisphere. My travels have also taken me across the pond where I have visited Scotland, England, Italy, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, and France. The farthest I have ever traveled is to Turkey.

Besides traveling my favorite things in this world are cooking, watching movies, and classical history.

If you find yourself in Chicago please book a few nights at my place!
