Colm & Fiona:
An Irish couple who love to travel. We are happy to provide advice for all things Brunswick, Melbourne, Australia and further. We provide breakfast on Saturdays if you are around, as well as sometimes dinner. Hablamos espanol. Nous parlons francais.
Quiet spot only minutes from transport (train / tram), shops, markets, pubs and restaurants. 20 minutes to the City by train, 25 from the airport.
Large queen bedroom with walk-in-robe and private bathroom.
Your own private queen bedroom in an art-deco townhouse, close to just about everything you could think you need, and lots of things you didn't know you needed, and some things you might not even need. WiFi is available throughout the house.
You have your own bathroom, and are free to use the kitchen, living area and laundry (if you need it), as well as our grassed balcony. For security, there is a small safe in your walk-in-robe.
Other things to note
We are very close to the airport, and have really easy access to the city. All that Brunswick has to offer is within walking distance, and we can give recommendations on where to eat and drink locally and in town.
We speak a little Spanish and French.
- Be nice to the neighbourhood cat that comes to visit
- Smoking permitted outside
- Seems strange to say it, but we would like people to be recycling, energy and water conscious
- Bedroom snackage is fine, bedroom meals are generally not really fair to the next people staying
- No "instant booking" on behalf of other people - contact us to explain and we'll see what we can do
We can interact as much or as little as you like. We love to cook and if you are here when we are cooking dinner you will be welcome to join us (must like spicy). We give anybody who stays Friday night breakfast on Saturday morning, if desired. Seasonal menu.
We have a small-medium library of travel guides and reference books in the house, some in your room, some in the living room.
We haven't been everywhere. Yet. But we have found that all the best quotes are overused.
We love diving and Spain and reading and travelling and Latin America. Ultimately i think we've discovered every trip distils down to the people and the food.
