Dho-Tapu means "Stone Saddle". It is a big sacred rock shaped like a horse saddle on the right side of the steep road leading to the Do-Dru-Chorten.
Our guest house is located at Deorali within the vicinity of Gangtok main town, just 2 kms away.). Our guest house is located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. We have rooms two categories of rooms: Deluxe (6 rooms) and Classic (2 rooms). All rooms are spacious, comfortable with attached bathroom.

Dho-tapu Guest House is located at Deorali which is 2 kms. away from M.G. Marg. and is situated between the State Trading Corporation and SNOD petrol pump.

Interaction with guests
I do stay here at times, however, there is always someone available at the Guest House as and when required.
Other things to note
Clothes can be cleaned and dried however, guest have to pay accordingly when used the facilities.
Food can be made on request and charged according, however, Breakfast and Bed tea are for complimentary.
* We maintain clean environment, and expect our guest to do the same
* Washing of the cloths and hanging of cloths on the room furniture or outside the windows is strictly forbidden. Guest are requested to make use of laundry facility available.
*Food of any kind from outside is not permitted for consumption inside. Cooking is not allowed inside the rooms.
*The main gate will be close at 10 P.M for security reasons. Guest who desire to return after 10 PM may intimate us before leaving.
*No major meals (lunch and dinner) will be served in the rooms or the terrace. Guest are requested to have major meals (lunch and dinner) in the restaurant.
