About this listing
My place is close to parks, art and culture, Snæfellsjökull glacier, Snæfellsjökull national park, The Freezer Hostel, Theatre and Culture Center. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the ambience. My place is good for families (with kids) and big groups.
This apartment used to be the town's very own bookstore and is decorated in the style of words and books. Inside there are a lot of books to read and some cosy chairs with reading lamps to sit down and relax with a good book. The house is one of the oldest in the town and has a lot of history. In the summer there is coffeehouse right on the other side of the street and the view of the glacier is astounding from the house. Also a short walk to the beach where you might see some seals if you are lucky
Our guests have the place all to themselves :)
Interaction with guests
I live on the top floor of this house so I´m very close by if there is anything you need. I will also leave my phonenumber so that I can be reached. Most of the time I am at the Freezer Hostel preparing cultural events that happen there but there will always be someone you can reach.
Other things to note
The Bookstore is a part of The Freezer Hostel and Culture Centre. The Freezer hosts regular events such as theatre, dance, circus, cinema and concerts as well as some festivals of culture and art. When you stay in the bookstore we suggest you don´t miss out on coming to the freezer to meet people, experience something unique and make new and fun memories :)

I am a friendly social hostel in Rif, Iceland. I like culture and people and making new friends. I also like providing entertainment such as theatre shows, live music and other artsy stuff.
My style of hosting is laid back and informal. I like guests to feel like they´re at home and amongst friends.
Can´t live without my phone, art, culture, interesting conversations, music and people
