We had a great stay in Marco's home, with a very warm welcome by Alessandra and Enrico (thank you again!). We spent most time outside, enjoying the terrace for breakfasts and dinners/bbq, with a a great view over the vineyards and countryside. And it's easy to go to Venise by train from there.

This is a special place. The house is authentic and practical (we very much appreciated the mosquito curtains, as although there were not many mosquitos even a few in the house can be a pain). The location is very rural but the wifi worked perfectly. It is difficult to imagine a more beautiful setting, with the house being perched high on the hillside, giving great views over the plain. Eating outside was a wonderful experience. Alessandra and Enrico could not have been more warm and welcoming hosts.

We had a wonderful time in this 320 year old house that used to be a monastery, the atmosphere was really relaxing and comfortable for the four of us - 2) adults and 2) 16 year olds - with room to spare. The rooms were very large with good beds. All of the appliances work and there was a nice bathroom. The view overlooking the vineyard is beautiful and you can enjoy the sunsets on the patio while you are having a BBQ. Make a reservation next door at La Chiesletta for dinner but make sure you go hungry as you will get a lot of food and wine. We used the house as an easy location to get to Verona and Venice. The train is 15-20 minutes drive away and good parking in Montegrotto for free. The local area is also good for quick day trips to see medieval and roman architecture. We arrived an hour early for check in where we were met by Alessandra and Enrico, they showed us around and gave us some tips. Very nice people that we were happy to meet. Great place to get away from it all while seeing the sights! We definitely recommend it to families with kids 5 years and up!

We had a fantastic stay at Marco's place for 4 nights. It is worth starting with the view. Perched high up in the hills, you get a view that would be hard to beat anywhere. Vineyards, forests, hills and mountains in the distance, and the flat Italian countryside below. Plenty of options to sit and relax, or enjoy a bbq. The house itself is a renovated monastery. The living spaces are all very rustic. Lots of space, enough for at least 6 people to sleep, two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The beds are very comfortable. A fully equipped kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. The location is great for a base to visit Verona, Padua, Vicenza and even Venice. Best of all is the tranquillity of the place. Quiet, secluded and private. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a very relaxing pleasant stay at Rovolon. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped and the view across the vineyard from the terrace is wonderful. It's a lovely place to enjoy an evening meal when the weather is good. Alessandra and Enrico were excellent hosts and very helpful with all our requests, as well as providing really useful local travel advice. Thank you kindly! The Saturday evening meal they arranged for us at La Chiesetta next door was a great start to our stay. The only reservation we would have is that the last kilometre of the road to get there is not good for nervous drivers.

Thank you Marco and Alessandra. You were great hosts. Communication before, during the stay and after was great. EThe house was presented very well and clean. The best about the house is its beautiful location in the vineyards. The garden is beautiful and very well kept. It would suit people that like to relax in a quiet place within beautiful surroundings. Restaurants are close by. One directly on the vineyard (you can walk over) where they serve you an amazing home cooked and good value for money 4 course meal with home produced wine. More restaurants in the village after a 5min drive. Supermarkets 10-15mins drive.

This was a great place. We spent 2 weeks here, using it as a base camp to visit Venice, Padova, Verona, Vicenza etc, sometimes by car, sometimes by train. But we also just stayed put and relaxed in the shade of the olive tree, or walked along the forest path behind the house. We were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home immediately by our local hostess Alessandra. Everything was nicely prepared for our arrival, including a bowl of tomatoes from their garden, and a bottle of wine from the vinyard next door . One of us is in a wheelchair, but Alessandra and Marco had provided us detailed information about the floor layout before we booked, carefully measuring doorways etc, and as a result we were able to come with the appropriate equipment and could fully enjoy our stay, even though the house is not officially handicap accessible. Alessandra was always available by phone to address any of our questions. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation house.
