Everything was perfect from the quick responses, to the check-in directions and ease, the food in the kitchen, the coziness of the home, the views, and the local recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying with Jane and Frank if you are looking for a place in the area!

What a beautiful location to spend a get-away vacation. Jane and Frank were extremely accommodating. The refrigerator was well stocked with everything we needed for morning breakfasts and light snacks. Their home was very clean and well appointed with beautiful antiques. Jane and Frank took the extra time to answer all our questions and give us advice on sites to see in the area. Thank you for making our trip to Maine extra special.

Jane and Frank were wonderful and their place fantastic! I enjoyed it so much and found their hospitality amazing. The location is great since it is quiet and also close to the small towns for dinner and places to see. The apt was immaculate and so many amenities. Lovely place to stay!

Directions were clear and easy to find. House is situated off the main road on a parallel wooded road, house is overlooking a tidal flat. It was fun to see the tide come in and out. There is an expansive field in the back with nicely mowed pathways. Lovely sunrises in the morning over the trees. The apartment is cleverly designed using space very effectively; all spotless, very clean and well organized. Jane and Frank went above and beyond providing a refrigerator already set up for cooking breakfast with eggs, muffins, juice, milk, yogurt, and more. Clean and well equiped kitchen area. The apartment is on second floor with it's own side entrance and area to park beside the house. Jane and Frank were wonderfully friendly and helpful providing information about local places and things to do. We even caught a free concert by Noel Paul Stooky in town one night! The king size bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. We focused on seeing things around town, but the apartment and grounds are so lovely, we would have been happy just hanging around relaxing and reading all day too. Jane and Frank are super hosts and we hope to return again to enjoy more time at their lovely home and in this very beautiful and interesting part of Maine.

As first time Airbnber's, we weren't sure what to expect. But after reading all the rave reviews, we thought that Jane & Frank's place sounded just right. And we weren't disappointed! It was the perfect getaway spot. The apartment was cozy and super quaint with the most beautiful views of the tidal pool and lovely grounds, the fridge was stocked with just the right items for breakfast and snacks, and the bed was very comfortable (that's a big one for me!) Jane and Frank, you were wonderful hosts, and we really appreciated how comfortable you made us feel. We needed a couple days to just decompress and relax, and that is exactly what we were able to do. Our only regret is that we didn't have a few more days to spend there, but we would definitely love to return in the future.

Very comfortable, pretty, and homey place to stay, especially if you have kids. The upstairs apartment where we stayed had food in the refrigerator, great toys for kids, and was very clean. The setting next to the water is beautiful. Jane was super helpful while checking in. We came here for two nights at the tail end of a two-week road trip. Before we arrived, we were tired and thinking of going home one day early, but this place was so night we abandoned that plan to stay another night.

The apartment turned out to be terrific and the hosts were very, very accommodating and personable without being at all intrusive. The apartment is sort of an in-law type apartment, built onto a lovely farmhouse. The farm is readily accessible but is situated at the end of a little country road that makes it very private and quiet. The apartment itself is very well set-up, with well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and it was immaculately clean. The apt is roughly L-shaped, with one seriously large bedroom at one end, a good-sized living room at the other end, and the kitchen, bathroom and open area in the middle. The living room was set up as a 2nd bedroom which was completely private. Both bedrooms were perfectly comfortable, and I slept well. That’s not always the case when I travel. The large kitchen window looks out over a meadow filled with blooming wild flowers that slopes down to the water’s edge. Very scenic. The only problem we had was that we could not stay longer. Unfortunately our plans changed, and again, the hosts were particularly accommodating. Honestly, I hope to return for this same weekend next year.
