About this listing

We are a working dairy farm in the Peak District national park, with the 'Tissington trail' (a disused railway line, perfect for safe family walks and bike rides) on our doorstep.
The village of Tissington is a very popular tourist spot, and the dressing of the wells during May attracts visitors from all over.
We are only a short drive from many great pubs and restaurants, and the local market town of Ashbourne.
We are a quiet location with great views.

This is a fabulous place to stay to help appreciate the life on a working dairy farm. Amy and Mike were extremely friendly and helpful to our needs but not too intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. The decor of the property is tasteful and the breakfast was delicious. Bed was very comfortable so got a good nights sleep and waking up was good overlooking the countryside.

We had a very warm welcome. The bed was comfortable and the room large and well-furnished. The breakfast was excellent. A great place from which to explore the dales and the many nearby stately homes.

Tissington is a beautiful village and this farm is in a lovely position close to the village with great views. Amy and her husband Michael are lovely thoughtful hosts. They made our stay very comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! There is a very nice private entrance to the accommodation from the side of farmhouse. Well recommended!

The farm is in a beautiful location we only stayed one night so didn't have much chance to explore but we will definitely be going back. Tissington looks like a lovely village to wander around in and the countryside around is stunning. Amy was a very welcoming host and her breakfast was AMAZING we didn't need lunch that day!

A really thoughtful host, a cosy living room to ourselves, a super-comfy bed with views of the hills, a delicious breakfast and plenty of places to explore in the area -- all we could have wished for. Thank you!
