This was the second time my family stayed in Bree's wonderful home. She was an amazing host and we absolutely love the house. It's in a beautiful neighborhood, too. I Highly recommend staying here!

Great house, great host! The house had everything we could possibly need, and wow, the beds were so comfortable - really one of the most comfortable mattresses I have ever slept on, including in luxury hotels. The house has a lovely yard and fountain, perfect for enjoying nice weather outside with a beverage. It was in a great location that was easy to reach arterials and get around town, yet quiet and private. The only negative I can think of is about the exterior neighborhood lighting -- if you are coming back after dark, the house is hard to see because the street lights are dim and there are lots of overhanging trees everywhere. Just remember to leave the porch lights on and everything is perfect. Thank you so much!

We found Bree to be a wonderful hostess! She was easy to communicate with and deal with. Getting in was easy and instructions were clear. Her house is so lovely and comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful time there. The location is great and we highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful experience staying here in Austin. Perfectly located within walking distance of several good restaurants on Manor Rd., walking distance of Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium, and a very short drive to visit the Texas state capitol building and sixth street downtown. Recommend very highly to any first time visitors to Austin, Texas.

We had a late arrival. Bree was accomodating; leaving a key for us to let ourselves in at our convenience. She checked in with us the next day to make sure we were settled and to recommend some local entertainment. The house is just as presented; more-so. The only drawback we had was the weather - it was unseasonably wet so we weren't able to take advantage of the patio areas as much as we'd hoped. The living areas are clean, comfortable, and the main-floor bath is out of a four-star hotel. There are two bedrooms. While there is space for a third couple, that space isn't private. The master bed is on the soft side - we needed a night to adjust but had no problems after that. Bree provided breakfast fixings that took care of us for the better part of our week-long visit. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The location is ideal for visiting Austin - We seemed to be no more than 15 minutes from anyplace we wanted to go in-town. I highly recommend having a (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Navigation app on your phone. The Austin roads are unlike anywhere else, heh. (Austin traffic is also an experience!) The neighborhood was quiet and relaxed. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. Overall, while renting Bree's house was more expensive than a moderate hotel, it was so superior to a hotel that it was well worth the extra expense to have a "homey" home base to return to. One important thing to note - Austin/Texas have some pretty substantial taxes on lodgings. It's customary for hotel websites to advertise their nightly rate and conveniently ignore those taxes/fees until they tack them on at the end. A lot of AirBnB (and similar rental services) hosts do similarly and the result is that you get surprise extra costs above what was advertised, or they operate "under the table" and don't pay the taxes like they should. Bree makes a point of being up-front about having the required licenses from the city/etc... and she includes all of the local taxes in the quoted price. When she quotes you $X, that's what you pay - not $X + 25% tacked on at the end. I admire that; and it means that her house rental price is not that much different from a comparable hotel when you compute the *actual* cost of staying at a comparable hotel.

I love this city and I hope you will, too! I've lived in Austin for 30 years so have seen this little college town grow into an exciting city that has every type of entertainment, activity and restaurant imaginable. I love the enchiladas at East Side Cafe (check out the chickens and garden in the back!), coffee at Bennu on East MLK, experimental theatre at the Vortex and the burgers at Cherrywood Coffeehouse - all within a mile of my home!
