The directions that are written out for hot water, when needed, are extremely helpful, and it takes no time at all. The place is very clean, and the water pressure is great. We think she really goes out of her way to provide maps, travel books, and suggestions, and really sets the bar. The only issue, which is out of her control is the on street parking. We ended up having to park at the top of the block, until our last day, but with more than one person, it wasn't so bad getting dropped off with the luggage.

Response from Brigid:
hi amanda. glad you had a good stay. as you will have noticed, every effort is made to ensure the highest standards at the apartments. This month has been very busy and neither the cleaner not I checked the pans in the cupboard last week. The previous guests must have put them away without washing them properly. very sorry about that. i will make sure these are checked in future so thank you for letting me know. best wishes, brigid

My parents and I spent three nights at Brigid's place and we had a lovely time. The apartment is in the perfect location, not far from city centre, close to Queen's University and the Botanic gardens, it has a lovely restaurant nearby that you will want to dine at every night. The apartment itself is cosy and luminous, the beds are comfortable and if the weather gets a little cold outside, it is warm and lovely inside. As a host, Brigid was very very nice, we did not meet but she made sure every step was easy for us and gave us many tips to enjoy our stay in Belfast. We absolutely recommend the place!

Brigid User Profile

I'm a native of Belfast and have also lived in both England and the U.S. I love traveling and have done so extensively- over the past year when I have visited Italy, Russia, Spain and Germany. My daughter currently lives in Manhattan which will now be my main focus of travel.

My professional background covers Community Development, Further Education and Peace-building. I have been Chair of several community organisations and recently put together Belfast's first women's history tour. In my free time, I love reading (especially related to history and art), good food and good conversation. I attend at least one class of physical activity each day; yoga, Pilates, badminton, swimming, walking etc.

Over the years, I've seen Belfast transform and I especially love welcoming visitors to the city which is rich in history and great for the craic (Irish for fun and humour). I'm always happy to give tours and information on the social and historical nature of the area as well as traditional music and the surrounding countryside.

Look forward to meeting you!
