Great central location for those wanting to see the sights. Walk score: 100.

Please Remove Shoes: As a courtesy to our tenants below, please remove your shoes while inside the apartment. Our downstairs neighbors would really appreciate it.
Heaters: Use the portable heaters only. Instructions are in the appliance binder in the closet if needed. I use the small bedroom heater for white noise at night ( lowest setting for fan noise and no heat).
“Air Conditioning”: There is no air conditioning (it is rarely needed in the city) however, you can create a nice breeze through the apartment by propping open the roof deck door and opening a window in the kitchen and front living room window.
Roof Deck Access: Number Key Pad Code - 2525 (to get back in apartment).
Please be courteous to our neighbors and keep noise and music level down in the evening. No deck use after 11:00 p.m. Voices and noise travel in the neighborhood and we’re trying not to become “the neighbors that make all the noise.” No more than 8-10 people allowed on the deck.
Lantern is in the kitchen cabinet near the table and on the stairway, if needed. Feel free to use the extra jackets, blankets and scarves.
Please cover furniture on rainy days and if not in use in the evening. The deck is typically wet in the morning from night fog.
Bose Sound Dock -also charges phone. Remote and iphone adapter are in blue bowl. You must use the remote for the sound system to work.
You may need to remove your phone cover. It is okay to bring up on the deck but bring it in after use and plug back in to recharge unit.
Sofa Bed with air mattress: Air pump, blankets and pillows are located in the wicker baskets (closet and living room). Sheets are in the grey boxes in the closet.
To close the couch, remove sheets and all the air. Make sure you do not force the bed back into couch. Move the mattress towards the foot of the bed to make it easier. Be gentle.
Garbage: Go down stairway in middle of building to basement level. Door is located next to apt 4. Make sure the door does not lock behind you-keep door propped open. There is a recycling bin.
Blow Dryer: Located under the bathroom sink.
Iron: There is an iron in the hall closet. The ironing board is built in the kitchen wall.
Laundry: There is a laundry mat on the corner of Pacific and Mason. There is also one near the Gallerie Cafe on Mason Street but it is not in the best condition.

Joe and I (Kathy) are excited to be hosts in the Air bnb community. We love the concept of sharing our space with our “neighbors” throughout the world.
This apartment is our second home and “get away” place in the city. We live in Aptos -an hour from the city along the coast in the Santa Cruz area (between San Francisco and Monterey/Carmel). We love to come up and experience urban life, get to know more about this amazing city, eat all the wonderful food, and then retreat back to our small coastal town.
Joe works in the commercial real estate business and I am a retired ergonomist-turned Air b-n-b host. If you decide to stay with us, we look forward to hosting and making your stay in San Francisco an easy and memorable one.
