Wonderful room in a wonderful home ! Christine made everything to make me feel welcome and home. She has real good taste and her beautiful flat tells the story of details and harmonic colors - I liked it to spend some time in this warm environment. She also has a little garden, where she grows some vegetables. The cucumber was amazing !THANKS By bus and metro the location is not far from the city center. Both Stations are 5 minutes walk away. The area is quiet and green, so it was nice to go back there after a day in the city. Highly recommend to stay there! Thank you Christine for the lovely stay ! Next time again !

I love Christine's place. Conveniently located just minutes from vineyards and minutes from the city center via public transport in a quiet neighborhood. Her space was very, spacious, clean, and filled with tidbits of nature. I would recommend it to anyone.

I feel like the photos were staged because in the pictures everything looks light and airy and fresh and clean. Once you enter the house it appears to be very old. (Which I'm not complaining about) but cluttered and not very functional. The Trash had not been emptied in the bathroom. There is no air conditioning and it was unbearable to sleep with the heat and humidity and tons of bugs that would come in because I had to open the windows. Everywhere I turned there was a web with a spider in it: two in the tub, in the kitchen by the cups, sink, broom, storage area. The absolute worst is that not only does the tub NOT have a shower curtain and water goes everywhere, there is literally about 6 to 8 inches between the washer and the hamper, which block your way to getting into the tub. It's extremely difficult to get in and out of the bathtub and at one point I tripped and hit my shin on the tub side because there is no move-ability. I definitely would kit have the hamper in that location because you have to turn to the side and shimmy your way through it and the washer just to take a shower. It's at least 20 minutes to the city center by bus so it close at all. But it's easy to get there in bus 38. There is no privacy in the bedroom as it looks out onto other windows from the opposing building there is a white screen you can pull down but it's see-through so I just changed in the wash room. Communication with owner was pretty much non-existent once I emailed that I had gotten there. I must have sent 3-5 emails and not one response. The biggest issue was that it says check-in time is 3pm and the room wasn't ready until after 8pm. So, I actually drove to Bratislava for a few hours. I did send an email asking what the latest and earliest I could check I would be in case I was able to get there from the airport earlier or in case I just wanted to head to Bratislava. But, I wasn't told there was an option. I was in front of her house when she told me it wouldn't be ready until 8pm. There was obviously a miscommunication because her email said "up to 8pm" but she meant after 8 pm. However, I'm still baffled as to why checkin is listed as 3 pm and yet room wasn't ready until after 8 pm. The one nice thing is that there is free parking in the street and two places right below where you can get coffee and/or eat.

Christine's place is in a nice and quite neighbourhood, very close to public transportation. The room is pretty specious. Christine's is a very nice host. She checked on me the day before about my arrival time to arrange her schedule to wait for my arrival. And also provided useful suggestions tour guides. I enjoyed my time at Christine's and would recommend it.
