This sweet little house is within 2 miles of the trendy West Asheville area or within 5 miles (around 10 minutes) to downtown Asheville. There is a fire pit in the backyard, perfect for these Fall nights. (Except not right now because there is a fire ban in WNC). I have a front porch to sit and sip your morning coffee, kitchen table with plenty of chairs to share a meal with friends, TV in the living room that uses a ROKU box. Feel free to ask me any questions about the house and/ or the area!

The space

This is my full-time home, I leave to stay with friends when you visit so please keep that in mind! I love my little home in the mountains and I hope you will too!

Guest access

You will have full access to the house excluding my bedroom. Please refrain from going in there.

Interaction with guests

I will generally be staying in the area so give me a call or a text should you need anything.

Other things to note

The house is on a blind curve- it can be hard to exit the driveway safely. Please use the mirrors across the street and if you don't find them helpful, roll down your windows and listen- that can help a lot.

Marissa's place was perfect for our stay. Her house was clean and comfortable and made for a wonderful trip. Asheville has always been home to me and Marissa's place certainly felt that way!! House is portrayed accurately. The only MINOR issue was the blind curve the house sits on. We had to be extra careful when our pup were outside. Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this location! ❤️❤️

We stayed in Marissa's house for the 2017 solar eclipse and it was the perfect home base for our Asheville experience. Her home is located in a quiet corner of the city but still has great access to downtown Asheville. It was clean, comfortable, and Marissa provided bagels, coffee, and any toiletries you may find you've forgotten to pack. She was quick to respond with any message we sent her and was overall a great host. I highly recommend staying at Marissa's charming home!

This was a great way for a few friends to get together and experience downtown or west Asheville. I would stay here again. Marissa was also a very responsive host.

Marisa was a wonderful host, however the house is located on a blind curve, even with mirrors across the rd, in my opinion is dangerous, it is an older home although neat, tidy and cute, if you have sensitivity to musty odors I would not recommend.

This house was so cute and cozy and extremely clean. There were lots of nice amenities like toiletry samples, towels, and coffee. The location was very quiet and secluded, but only a ten minute drive to downtown Asheville. Great place to stay!

Marissa's house was perfect for our weekend stay! Close enough to downtown, but far enough from the city with beautiful quiet streets. We felt very comfortable in her house, and we loved the bagels she left for us to try! Would definitely recommend staying at her house.

Marissa's place was great. She had bagels and coffee to make our stay even more cozy and comfortable. She really put time and energy into considering how we would feel in her home. Lovely place- perfect distance to the wedding we were attending. Comfy bed!

Marissa User ProfileMarissa is a superhost.

I have lived in Asheville for over 4 years and I am absolutely in love with the area. I can't get enough of these gorgeous mountains, the amazing culture, delicious food, and of course, the beer. We have tons of local eateries, farmers markets, coffee houses, etc. Feel free to ask for some of my favorites when you come for a visit!
