WHY DO PEOPLE LIE?
A water pipe burst in the second bathroom at 6am Saturday. My Manager Judith went to the apartment at 1pm, phoning these guests prior to her arrival.Emma had collected the keys from our real estate agent, so had a number of contact people in the area.
I sent messages of thanks and condolences for what must have been a challenging time.
Emma said they moved to her sisters home . We had the apartment dried by Monday , thus out for 3 days and we offered 7 NIGHTS free and open to negotiation .
It was later when they refused to move back in to the dried apartment they demanded full refund , through airbnb. I am highly OFFENDED, and hurt to be called such names as "RIDICULOUS (how do you know what airbnb think?) UNSCRUPULOUS, DELUSIONAL.
All communication is on airbnb and phone text, REAL TIME FRAMES (truth) REAL ATTEMPT TO NEGOTIATE. Written communication, unravels LIES people later tell. There is TOO much in writing to prove that much of what you say are lies to get a 19 day refund ( my guess is you stayed with your sister and saved the $$$) I am TRULY SORRY a pipe burst !!!! We did all we could possibly do to compensate .
Perhaps it is you, that is ridiculous and unscrupulous, when life events aren't perfect for you. I have been MORE then reasonable and Pleasant, till now, whilst I have found you to be aggressive toward me over a situation I TOO had NO control over.
In short, most of your account of the events of that weekend are blatant lies, and you know it.
