Agathi house is situated in the north end of Agios Gordios beach in ideal position for someone looking for a quiet and relaxing holidays, far from the crowds and busy tourist area.

Ideal for the independent-minded seeking seclusion and privacy, to get away and relax in the beautiful nature by the beach, the Beach House is now a firm favorite with many of our clients.Agios Gordios is situated on the west coast of Corfu in Greece , within good proximity to the I.Kapodistrias airport as well as Corfu Town (roughly 15 km). Buses to both run daily from Agios Gordis and get you into Corfu Town after a 45 minute ride.

The small village of Agios Gordios is surrounded by green olive-clad mountains that lead down to a long golden sandy beach with crystal clear water. At the village you can find everything you might need. There are many restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets.

There is a full range of restaurants offering a variety of tastes including Traditional Greek, Mediterranean, international and Mexican; a few of these are by the sea. The quality and the service of Agios gordios restaurants are at high levels. Prices are very good and can satisfy all budgets.

The beach of Agios Gordios is a beautiful long sandy beach (about 1.5 km long) which has also private areas for nudists and to those who enjoy privacy. On the busy part of the beach (about 600 meters) you can either opt for relaxation (there are beds and umbrellas for hire) or get a bit more involved. There are boats, canoes and pedallos for hire that offer the opportunity for some explorations.

'Black rocks' proved to be a wonderful holiday. The location is beautiful, with a view onto the clear blue sea, it only takes 1minute to walk to the sandy shore. The house is simple but practicle with a large veranda surrounding the outside which allows shade from the sun. The staff working at black rocks were incredibly accommodating and friendly and helped us with any problems. The beach house is about a 10 minute walk to the main town of Agios Giordios where there are restaurants, bars and supermarkets. We would love to come back again and bring more people with us next time!

We had a great time in Agathi Beach House. Its location is extraordinary, in the sense that you're remove from the turmoil of the city and there is No Noise, except the waves!! As a drawback, it's a bit challenging to get there, as the road is not so easy to drive and then one needs to walk 500 meters. However, the owners have been amazing and have carried our luggage with their 4x4. The apartment is a bit old, but clean and really with a 'beach house' feel. It has good beds, a great patio and all windows and doors are new. Air conditioning in rooms is highly appreciated. The main plus here is really the owners. They are amazing people and so accommodating. The Black Rocks coffee they run is serving great family food (the best Moussaka we had in Greece!) with amazing view. Highly recommended.

A great shabby-cool and laid-back stay right off the pebble and sand beach split by the completely accommodating Black Rocks bar owners below. Sea view slightly obscured by ramshackle old accommodation, rooms are basic and tired, but who cares when you spend the day on the beach or visiting water parks, the small but cheerful Agios Georgios town with supermarkets, good restaurants and beach water sports? Noisy kids can burn themselves out without worrying about upsetting other guests, as you are pretty much on your own, and the two-sided terrace was a great place to unwind, play cards and drink very cheap but palatable wine in the warm evenings. A washing machine in the bathroom that we didn't know about in advance would have allowed for half the packing, as clothes dried in minutes on the washing line stretched between pillars. Not a good-looking apartment, and the bathroom was smelly (open drain cover in the middle of the floor didn't help) but we were very happy, and air conditioning made it all very bearable. Beds were comfy, but sheets were were well-worn. Bar restaurant owners below were really accommodating and would do anything for us. We had a late flight, so they drove us into town to their swankier place for an afternoon at the pool, which was a lovely relaxing end to a great ten days. Head North East if you get a hire car for some beautiful coves with slightly pricey but wonderful restaurants on the beach. The water park was a fab day out for two girls growing in confidence with every slide conquered. Car hire in the town was very reasonable, although unlike in the UK you have limited mileage. Water park tickets were actually cheaper through them too. A speedboat ride North found a great beach resort where we could swim ashore for drinks and ice cream. Snorkelling was really cool, swimming with colourful exotic fish and octopus. The island was beautiful and green. Views were great! If you are really fussy about cleanliness and style you might want to look elsewhere, but for us it was great value and a lovely stay. The girls loved occasional visits from feline friends, but bring your mosquito deterrent! There were nets on all windows, and they provided burners, but outside you will get eaten alive! Pretty much shut from November to March, the last week in August was quiet and no problem getting sun beds and tables in restaurants. all-in-all, shabby but laid-back, great accommodation for the non-house proud. We would be happy to go back.

We thought the place was very nice and exactly what we were looking for. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Beach access is fantastic, the patio area is great but one drawback is a neighbors trees obstruct the beach view from the house. That said, the owners have a nice cafe about 15 steps from the house, where you have spectacular views. Access to the house is via the beach and the owners will load up your luggage and bring directly. Great Tavernas etc. are a short walk down the beach (i.e. 10 minutes). All in all, a nice spot we'd return to.

Agathi house is located on one of the less crowded and most beautiful beach of the island, more than 2 km long. Being located on the West coast, nice sunsets on the sea can be admired. The beach is split in two sides, Agathi house being in the middle: on South the beach is sandy, you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds, take a shower and you can find bars and restaurants on the back of the beach. On North the beach is mixed sandy and rocky with just vegetation on the back and very few people, including some nudists. The house is about 20 meters away from the beach, far from motorways, and nights are very quiet. You can reach the village within a 10 minutes walk along the beach where you can find food and markets. Rooms are large, the two bedrooms are provided with air conditioning. A washing machine is located in the bathroom and the kitchen is large with four electric plates. All household appliances worked fine during our stay. Furnitures are simple but functional, but the double bed was somewhat smaller than our standards. The outdoor terrace is large and covers two of the four sides of the house, so you can easily dine outdoors. The sea can be seen from two corners of the terrace, in one of which the nice view is partially covered by wild canes in a neighbor field, which would benefit of more care. The garden has two very nice lemon tree, a large jasmine plant and other flowers. We would have personally appreciated a smaller paved outer space in favor of more space for trees and plants on the garden side. Two main issues with the house are: 1. Water is not drinkable, as in many other places in Greek islands, so you have to buy bottled water. Anyway, the bar downstair the house anyway sells boxes of bottled water at a reasonable price, so you don't have to walk from the village carrying too much weight. 2. Mosquitos are abundant and may bother you during the night, so you may need to use a repeller or other solutions.

We were very happy to benefit from Agathi house by the sea, on the west coast of Corfu, less crowded yet one of the most beautiful coasts of the island. This is a very convenient beach house well fitted to the needs of a family or friends's holiday needs. The house is located very near to a very nice, quiet and beautiful beach. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They have a bar below the house with a magnificent view on the see and this was one of our favorite spots during our vacation. The parking is 5 minutes away by foot (which ensures real tranquility near the house!) and the village of Agios Gordios is less than 10 minutes away by foot and provides everything you need (food, bars, tavernas). A very good spot for our stay in Corfu !

Beach house in Corfu. 25m to beach and bar on beach. West side of island is less built up than the resorts next to Corfu town. Long walk to parking if you wish to drive anywhere but small resort town has everything you will need. Two bedrooms with beds for 5. Would be perfect for two couples or a family with kids.
