The location of this apartment is EXCELLENT! Just down the street from the Arc de Triomphe, and about a block from the Charles DeGaulle -Etoile Subway station --from this station you could travel anywhere in Paris you want to go!
Check in was easy, & we were in communication via text with LeLe & had no problem getting settled into the apartment. LeLe was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
Many restaurants and cafés in the area. Quite a vibrant night life as well, but very quiet in the apartment itself during the day and at night.
The apartment seemed quite secure. You enter from the street with a code number, then walk through to a courtyard --very quaint. You enter the building with another code and take the elevator to 6th (top) floor. The hallways in the building are a bit of a labyrinth (my son called them), so pay attention when you are taken through, lol. You use a key to enter the apartment itself.
As mentioned in the description, the apartment is quite small. If you are claustrophobic, or if you want to spend some leisurely time in the apartment, I would not recommend it. You have to do quite a bit of maneuvering to move about, and if you use the sofa bed like we did (3 of us), it makes things even tighter as you must rearrange furniture to open it. Still, we did not spend too much time in the apartment so it was OK for us, but I think it's best for a couple. The sofa bed our son slept on was quite noisy (as mentioned in another review), however we were so tired each evening that it didn't bother us --we slept well. The mattress in the bedroom was great, and my son had no complaints about the sofa bed mattress either.
The bathroom is quite tight, and the shower wand was not attached to the wall, so you had to hold it in one hand and wash with the other --a bit awkward. The water comes in through some sort of mechanical pump and is quite noisy, but again not a big deal.
There is an Nespresso machine in the kitchen which was quite noisy, but worked well. We also used the washer/dryer with no problems which was quite handy.
Overall, imo, the price was great for this excellent location, but this is a budget apartment.
