Only a 10 minute walk from the town center.
Our house is a single-storey detached house, situated at the very end of a cul de sac, with good, safe parking facilities. There are no immediate neighbours close to the house. The garden is fairly large, a bit wild in places, but nice. And at the back, on the other side of our hedge, there is a small wood with steps from an old amphitheatre, which is open to the public.
The center of the 700 year old town, Rudkøbing, is only ten minutes away by foot, and if you go by car there are several places to park, all free.
The whole island offers innumerable possibilities for exploring, as well as enjoying the wonderful landscape. There will be brochures to give you some ideas as to where to go and what to see. And in the summer our beaches are well worth a visit.
I am prepared to help our guests with any information they might need, to answer their questions and to provide any reasonable services needed.
I speak reasonable English, German, French and Italien, so hopefully communication should not pose a problem.
There are buses to take you around the island, should you not have a car.
Hopefully our guests will be able to relax and feel at home, and treat our house with the same repect, with which they treat their own home.
We live in an ordinary small town. Our hobbies are mainly photography (I worked as a photographer as well), nature, especially the mountains of Provence, markets and villages, food from all cuisines, drinking good red wine, reading books, designing photobooks for ourselves, interiour decorating (me), watching a good movie, and my husband Leif is also a very keen amateur cyklist. He brings his bike for tours in the wonderful French landscape, and also spends a lot of time on his bike going around the country lanes on the small and lovely island in the south of Denmark, where we live.
