About this listing
Our house is in a quiet, safe suburban neighborhood. We've got fantastic neighbors who are almost always available if you have a question or need help. This is our home, so it's fully-equipped for anything a family might need. I have many friends with small kids, so if needed, I can try to find carseats, high chairs, etc. Our house is clean, comfy and convenient to both LA, and the Santa Barbara County wine country. The beach is 30 minutes by car from our front door.
Our home is a one-story, three bedroom, two bath house in a quiet, residential neighborhood. We have a two car garage that functions as a workspace/bike shop and a large backyard with patio, barbeque, lounging areas, a fire pit, vegetable garden, fruit trees and dining table.
The entire house is yours to use!
Interaction with guests
We only rent our house when we're not here, so you'll be totally on your own. We'll always be available during your stay if you want to chat or have issues, and, prior to your arrival, we're happy to consult regarding the house, our neighborhood, the area and California in general. Just let us know what works for you.
Other things to note

Hi there! I'm a mom, wife, business owner, traveler and foodie. I'm always on the hunt for places and foods that feel undiscovered and a little bit raw. My husband is an avid road cyclist and I'm an avid traveler, so we combine the two as often as possible, always looking for something yummy to eat while we're on the road. We have a 14-year-old daughter who also has the travel and foodie bugs, but is consumed by high school at the moment. This year, other than cycling weekends with my husband (he rides, I plan!), I'm hoping to get to Cuba (before the Starbucks goes in!), Macchu Picchu, Iceland and Greece. So many details to work out at the moment!
