The location of this apartment, Tennoji district, is one of Japan’s most spiritual and traditional towns.
Home to Tennoji Park and the famous Shitennoji, it’s a perfect setting for seeing the cultural side of Osaka.

This whole house, great for groups of up to 8 people, has its interior decorated in a traditional ‘ryokan’ style.

I have tried my best to make it as faithful to a typical Kyoto house as possible! So you can get all the feeling of a real guesthouse while still being in the city centre.

There are two bedrooms, one with a luxurious double bed, and the other where you can put out the futons for an even more authentic experience.

Downstairs, there’s a big kitchen and living area. If you’re planning on a longer stay, the kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs!
You can pick up fresh ingredients from the supermarket a short walk away.

Also, a pretty little backyard in the style of a Japanese garden is there so that you can have a peaceful escape even within the house.

Nearby Tsuruhashi is widely known as Japan's largest Korean town.
Tsuruhashi is filled with people from all over Korea, from many different eras. Some are Japanese citizens, some are not; the cultural diversity is huge!
This makes Tsuruhashi a distinctly unique travel destination.

Just outside Tsuruhashi station, which is the nearest station about a 10 minute walk away, is a street filled with all sorts of Korean BBQ and yakiniku-- hungry tourists should make haste to go here.
For the determined shoppers, don't worry! Tsuruhashi's shopping has tons of great deals that you can take your time seeing.

When you want to venture out of the neighborhood, Tsuruhashi station is connected on the JR Loop Line and Sennichimae subway line.
So you can get to Dotonbori, Namba, Shinsaibashi, Nipponbashi, Kuromon Market, Osaka Castle, all within 5 to 10 minutes!

This house is magnificently connected to the city while still retaining that special charm of olden days.
You can enjoy an authentic Japanese experience, and nightlife just a short walk from your front door.

Akane's guest house is very spacious and cozy. As a family 4 of us, we have plenty of room not only at the bed room area but also the living room too. Such a beautiful house. The location of Akane's guest house is very close to JR and subway station, within 8-10 minutes walk. There is 7-11 store and a lot of restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay again in our next visit to Osaka.

lovely house if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and are willing to be a quiet guest. if you have trouble with stairs or are looking for a place to party, this is probably not the place for you. my husband and I stayed here, and it was plenty of space for us. taller folks will have to watch their heads when they take the stairs, but the bathroom and toilet area are much roomier than most japanese hotel bathrooms.

Akane's house is a perfect place to stay in Osaka! We had such a great time there. It was well furnished and well equipped. We could easily find everything we needed in the house. It was just like home. The place is also accessible with great local food, supermarkets and wet market around. Akane is very friendly. We love her place so much that it will definitely become our home in Osaka.

I'm an interior coordinator and have been working as a interior coordinator for many years. I always wanted to remodel the old house and I finally did it. Coordinating houses is part of my hobby too. It is so hard to experience old style houses in Osaka City. That why I wanted …
