Other things to note
SugarTop Resort is the perfect retreat for snow-skiing in winter or escaping the heat of summer. In fact, due to the mile-high elevation, none of the SugarTop condos have air-conditioning units. Summer evenings can prove to be a bit chilly. During midday peak temps, simply open the windows or balcony door and enjoy the fresh mountain breezes. There are high-end ceiling fans in both bedrooms, and 2 nice portable fans for your comfort and convenience.
During the winter months: All wheel drive vehicles or snow chains may be advisable. Calling ahead is most appropriate. SugarTop Resort is happy to advise.
Please place trash in rubbish chute located at the end of the hall.
Smoking is prohibited inside unit and building.
Pets are not permitted but there is pet boarding in the area for your convenience.
Quiet time after 10pm-8am.
Please have a wonderful time, but we request all guests to respect the furnishings, properties, safety, security, and resident peace ordinances to ensure the best experience possible for all involved.

We escaped the summer heat by staying at SugarTop Resort. And we fell in love with the people, the community, the peacefulness, the flora and fauna, the trails and waterfalls, the sunrises and sunsets, the sky mountains all around us; watching the walls of rain wash in across the miles, heat lightning beneath tangerine and lavender clouds, the sea of pink waves beneath our balcony with the rising sun. Our eyes and our souls yearned for more time on Sugar Mountain. We became owners within weeks. We're Tennesseans and North Carolinians and we couldn't be happier. We have a deep-rooted love for the entire Appalachian highland region. We've traveled all over, but we'll forever call these mountains "Home."
