Jungle Reef Inn is a small Inn located amongst the hills of Sandy Bay. Newly renovated in 2016, we offer stunning views of the Caribbean Sea, in a lush tropical setting. We are a short walk to Sandy Bay beach, and close to West Bay, West End, and the airport. You’ll love the the jungle ambience as much as the view. Join in a morning yoga practice with our certified instructor, or relax in a hammock, listening to the birds. This room also offers a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and BBQ.

Shawn was quick to respond after booking and set us up with a reliable taxi driver for airport drop off. The room was just as described and was clean and neat. Good restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk and the airport was a short 15 minute drive away.

Roatan is not an Island of exoticism, There are busy streets loaded with tourists and ex-pats blended into the scenery. Although Roatan is a home away from home for many, it has been saturated with the likeliness of American culture which has saturated and exasperated every inch…

Response from Shawn:
Sorry that you were not here long enough to see all of Roatan and all it's beauty. While the West end can be 'touristy' especially when there are multiple cruise ships in port, the east end is much the opposite. You would definitely have seen the rustic, serene and un-touched Roatan that I think you were looking for. Best wishes to you both. We enjoyed your visit, and are grateful for your feedback!
