Very nice and airy country house! At an easy distance of Ghent and at the same time with nice views on pastures and a big, lovely garden!
Looking out over a groove of poplar trees, bordering a streamlet, in the middle of pastures, this charming country house boasts a magnificent garden (3000 square metres), ideal for a quiet holiday near the historical city of Ghent. The groundfloor is an open space, the living room is full of light, connected to the open kitchen and the study, overlooking the garden. The first floor has a master bedroom and two childrens bedrooms. The bathroom has a big open shower. The attic sleeps two, has a double bed and a sink. The house is a ten minute walk from the village centre, with bakeries, supermarket and grocery. In Soetekoeke, a nearby restaurant, delicious meals are served. The surroundings are ideal for hiking, Oosterzele is the beginning of the Flemish Ardennes, known for its wonderful nature. There are stables at 100 metres of the house where you can go horseriding. We provide towels and bed linen. Ghent is 20 minutes by car (E40).Brussels is 45 minutes (E40).Bruges is 40 minutes. Balegem, the hamlet part of Oosterzele, has a train station with direct connection to Ghent and an easy connection to Brussels.

The house is meant fot quiet holidays, so no (garden) parties.

We are a family of four, two boys, age 7 and three. We love travelling, camping and meeting new people.
