After 20 years of frequenting New Orleans ourselves we found our happy place and we want to share it with you too! Our home is walking distance from world-renowned restaurants, Mardi-Gras parade routes, The Riverwalk, and tourist attractions such as Bourbon St., Jackson Square and The French Market. Guests are only 5 blocks from the Mercedes Benz Superdome and Arena, and 6 blocks from Harrah's Casino. Take a short uber/taxi ride to The Convention Center. This location beats any place we've ever stayed in NOLA. It is so central whether you are there for a convention, for a concert, a game, or to party on Bourbon. You are in the safest place with the cleanest street, and only steps away from the action!
When you walk in to this modern loft, you will be greeted by tall windows across the entire back of the condo. Immediately to your right will be the first queen bedroom, that has access to the hall full bath. This room has two locking doors for the most privacy in the condo. Further down the hall, you will find the living area, with mid-century furniture, large LED television, and an open concept kitchen. Adjacent to the living area are the other two bedrooms, one king and one queen. The king bedroom has access to another full bath. These two bedrooms off the living area are separated by sliding, translucent walls that can close off or open up, according to your preference. Each room has its own large LED television, and all lights, including lamps, can be controlled with the wall switch. This three bedroom unit sleeps 6 adults comfortably and 2 luxury roll-away twin beds with memory foam mattresses will accommodate 2 more if necessary. With so much open space and yet so much privacy, you are sure to enjoy this condo experience with friends and family.
Please keep in mind that as our guest you are free to use any available amenities, however the building management reserves the right to control access to those amenities.
All amenities are located on the 5th floor. There is an outside lounge/deck with a grill, a small indoor lounge area, and a small area with fitness equipment. The hot tub is broken and not included in the listing or rental.
We ask that you respect any posted rules and specific hours. If we are notified of any disrespectful behavior, it will probably result in the termination of your stay without a refund. And a reminder, NO PARTIES anywhere on the property and quiet time is 10pm until 8am.

Provided in Bathrooms: Bath and hand towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and one hair dryer. Extra supplies may be found in lower cabinets or supply closets.
Provided in Bedrooms: Linens, comforter, and blanket. Linens for both roll away beds will be available in the large supply closet.
Provided in Laundry: Laundry soap, dryer sheets, stain remover spray, clothes iron, and ironing board.

1 NO PARTIES anywhere on the property. Guests should only access condo on floor 2 and not access other areas designated for owners only. Guests should abide by any signs posted by building staff. Disturbing behavior may result in the loss of your security deposit. Legal action will be taken for parties that cause damages to the unit, property, reputation, or relationship with building staff or residents. Quiet time is from 10pm till 8am.
2 NO SMOKING in the unit or on the property.
3 The booked guest is responsible for actions of ALL GUESTS occupying the property at all times, and must be staying at condo.
4 You agree to return all key fobs (building access devices.) It is very important for the next guest that all 3 remotes are returned. You agree to pay up to $250 for lost key fob replacement.
5 You agree to keep occupancy at 6-8 persons or less.
6 You agree that onsite building staff is not affiliated with this rental. Please contact your host for any needs.
7 No pets allowed.
8 DO NOT set items on cook-top unless cooking, due to fire hazard. If the cook-top is needed you must go to the electrical panel located near the bathroom entrance in the bedroom closest to the kitchen and turn the breaker to the on position. When you are finished cooking, immediately turn the breaker back to the off position.
9 You agree that the owners are authorized to charge your credit card for excessive damages, cleaning, or unauthorized late check-outs or early check-ins.
10 You are responsible for all contents in the unit from check-in until check-out and agree to return all building access remotes upon check out.
*Cameras are located in all public areas of Union Lofts for the safety of all residents and guests.
About The Owners
Aaron and Gina Plaunty were born, raised and reside in southeast Texas. They met at Lamar University in 1997. Aaron was the teaching assistant in her first Geology lab class, and that was where it all started. They were married in 1998 at Lamar University and both earned Geology degrees. Being more of a “work smart, not hard” kind of guy, Aaron passed on working in the oil industry and both of them started teaching science, which gave Aaron the time needed to pursue other business ventures. After earning his Master’s, Aaron became a middle school principal. He contracted his first home, having no knowledge or skill prior, and realized he had a knack for it. Soon after, he was building homes for others full-time and also started a secondary business helping other homeowners be their own contractors, like he had once been. Aaron and Gina had two children during the next 9 years. While she stayed home with the kids and did his bookkeeping, he built hundreds of homes in the area. With the dooming economy outlook of 2008, Aaron decided to act quickly and look for another career direction that would be less economy driven. Together, they opened the first urgent care medical facility in Beaumont, TX. For four years, they managed a very successful, medical business. During the end of those years, Aaron built two beach houses near Galveston, TX, which became his first rental properties. In 2013, Aaron sold the medical business, and has since devoted his time to purchasing properties in all the places that they love. Gina and Aaron have been frequenting New Orleans for almost twenty years, and have never missed an opportunity to enjoy all that the Crescent City has to offer. Mardi Gras has been a family tradition since the kids were in strollers. They now have a rental home on Lake Sam Rayburn, and recently purchased property in New Braunfels, TX to build yet another great vacation destination and rental on the Guadelupe River.
