Great location in a Mayan village overlooking the Lake and the volcanoes, amazing views! The Lake and center is a 15 min walk to shops, restaurants and the lake. My place is very beloved because of the location, the people, the ambiance, the outdoor spaces, and the neighborhood. My place is good for both couples, solo adventurers, and families with kids.
Relaxing, healing and inspiring. All needed comforts with great beds, hot water and WIFI. Small Garden with fire place.

The space

San Marcos is famous for its focus of Healing and Meditation and Yoga, and Casa Jaguar is a house where you can experience this, as well as being able to have amazing views of Lake Atitlan and the Volcanoes.
It has WIFI, fully equipped kitchen, hot shower, bath tub, use of yoga deck, and a Temple Space to be used when there are no workshops or classes going on (ask for more info if you're interested in joining classes! There are often people staying in the house who offers classes, yoga, meditation, etc).

Be part of a Mayan traditional village but with privacy and use of garden and a cosy outdoor fire place. Take a bath in the bath tub with view of the lake and volcanoes!
Great vibes, comfort and security in a peaceful setting in nature.

Guest access

Guests have access to shared kitchen and bathroom.
The yoga deck and the Temple Space can be used when no classes or workshops are happening. These classes and workshops can be joined for reduced fee. Inquire when booking or when you arrive if interested.

Interaction with guests

My partner and I stayed at Casa Jaguar with our 1 year old baby for one week. We absolutely loved our time there. Tarn has a really unique house with great open spaces like the yoga deck and the temple room, which was nice for letting our baby run around and play. I thought the location was perfect, up on the hillside away from center of town. It was quite a walk up the hill but I enjoyed getting some exercise and if I can do it with a baby on my back its not that bad! Tarn does a really nice job of keeping the house clean and it is easy to tell he is passionate about the space. We met a lot of really great people while staying here and felt like the space attracts a really positive energy. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us Tarn! We hope to return someday when Oakley is older and will remember it .
