Enjoy full use of this cozy and freshly updated two-bedroom cottage located in the Broad Ripple/Midtown cultural district. A convenient location and thoughtful amenities make this home a perfect choice for visiting family, business travel & weekend getaways. We offer walkable, bike-friendly access to markets, nightlife, and restaurants. Nearby attractions include locally-owned boutiques, galleries, eateries, and breweries. We’re close to The Monon Trail, Broad Ripple Village & Butler University.
This snug duplex home boasts original hardwood floors, cozy rooms, a small but complete kitchen, and beds for 4+ (1 queen, 1 full, a small futon by request).
The home includes a furnished living room, a kitchen with a cafe-style table, a smaller bedroom and a larger bedroom. The home has central air & heat. Large grassy backyard with chairs & a picnic table. (Note, the yard is not fenced.) A washer/dryer available in the basement. There is dual-speed WiFi, and an Internet-capable Roku TV (you must sign-in to your favorite streaming services) with an HD broadcast antenna for local stations. (No cable or satellite service.)
Guests will have the whole apartment. We keep two older, classic bicycles in the garage for guest use. You'll not win any races or conquer any trails on them, but you can toodle around town to your heart's content as they've been restored and tuned up.
Interaction with guests
We can meet you for move-in, move-out as seems good to you, but we usually just provide instructions and lockbox access. (Self-serve!) During your stay you will have the place to yourself.
Other things to note
We've stayed with AirBnB hosts in London, Montreal, Massachusetts, Santa Fe, Vermont, and other places but we're coming up on 3 years that we've been hosting. We like to pick-up tips from other hosts and travelers, so please offer suggestions to make your stay more pleasant, and please leave feedback if you had a great stay.
The base pricing is for 2 adults. For add'l adults please add $20/night per person. If you have kids with you, just price it based on the adults.
House rules are simple: Guests are expected to leave the home as they found it and respect the guest on the other side of the duplex by keeping the music and voice levels at reasonable levels after 9:00pm. Guests are asked to wash their own dishes, strip the beds and gather used towels in a laundry bag, and carry their trash to the outside bins. We ask for no smoking in the home, and no throwing of butts in the yard. Dogs are welcome, but we expect you to pick up after 'em. And....enjoy your visit!! Please let us know if we can do anything to make your stay better. We aren't on site, but we aren't far and will respond if we possibly can.
