Beautiful, spacious top floor apartment with high ceilings and wooden floors, in a charming, quiet, safe and secure apartment block in Sea Point. Tastefully decorated - with beautiful art and all the home comforts you need. It is is nestled mid-way between the beautiful open spaces of the promenade and the hustle and bustle of Sea Point's Main Road with its many fantastic restaurants and bars.
Comfortable and colourful lounge area, leading to a fully equipped kitchen (inlcuding stove and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, nespresso, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer) and comfortable breakfast counter where you can set up your electronics, should you need to work.
One spacious bedroom with comfortable bed and built in cupboards.
One full bathroom with shower and bath. A separate guest loo.
Sunny balcony from where you can enjoy your morning coffee or relax with a good book. This is an incredibly large and amazing outdoor space - a wrap-around balcony accessed from the lounge and the bedroom. Set the table and enjoy a meal al fresco or some pre-dinner drinks before hitting the town!
The apartment is on the 4th floor of a secure apartment block (no lift).
Guests will be given their own set of keys and have the apartment to themselves.

I will check you in (and out) and you can get in touch with me at any point during your stay. I'll be happy to pass on tips / advice / comment to help you plan your stay before you arrive - and any other areas of South Africa you may be visiting.
Other things to note
*Parking - there is an off street allocated parking bay to which you will have access.
*There is a TV, a "streaming" TV/media "box" and a DVD player but no DSTV ("cable" TV), quite frankly because its rubbish!
* For stays longer than a week, a courtesy weekly or midstay clean is offered. We can arrange additional cleaning or laundry services upon request and at an additional cost, if required (and if available).
Linen, towels, tea, coffee, sugar are provided.
Please be respectful of the apartment and the building. Respect our neighbours and please try keep noise levels low in passage ways and stairwells. Generally, keep noise levels to a minimum between 10pm-7am.
Strictly no smoking inside the apartment - including stairwells and bathroom. Guest may smoke on balcony but please try keep doors closed so as to avoid any smoke smell coming into the apartment.
Nothing may be removed without being returned to the apartment. The library of books, art and knick-knacks are precious to the owner and left for your enjoyment while in the apartment. You are enjoying a "home", not a sterile hotel room. Nothing is for "take home".

Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
I'm an avid Airbnb fan for all my travel destinations and know that my apartment would have made me a very happy traveler, so I invite you to try it. I've lived in the UK for a very long time but have now returned to the most beautiful city in sunny South Africa. Who knows where next :-)
