A little 1 room flat (46 m2) in the center of West Berlin with the level of comfort 4*.
Advantages: unique design + location near Kurfürstendamm (main street West) + high level of comfort + parking near the house + easy to get to fair (Messe Berlin) + absolutely quiet neighborhood
Disadvantages: 4. floor without elevator - only 1 room, which is both living- and bedroom

The space
§ (1) ABOUT THE FLAT (1)

Berlin has a fame of "cool city", "city of freedom", "exceptional city, which deserves undivided attention". It´s not that sophisticated as Paris and not so posh as London, but the city also has its "golden miles". And as the flat is located in the heart of the most prestigious and magnificent district of West Berlin, where the best hotels accept politicians and Hollywood stars and restaurants are full of delicate dishes, I decided to create a flat, which would correspond the high level of surrounding.

This flat would be ideal for those travellers, who are looking for the comfortable stay! Business travellers, romantic couples, families with kids are welcome here!

It´s a place for those of you who is ready to pay for:

The flat it is located in a very old house (120 years) in the heart of West Berlin, where many generations of famous people changed each other. Before the war the house was inhabbitated by reach Jewish families and the part of the house, where the flat is located belonged to their servants. Despite the magnificent history, the house looks scarry today, coz the landloard doesn´t want to invest much in the house, which might be ruined in 20 years, but even being in a poor condition it has its main value - historical herritage!

Almost everything what is in the flat inside was modernized and brought to the up-to-date standards.

I tried to create something really cool & extraordinary in this flat , not just a flat, where I would live, but a place with its own unrepeatable charm, which can impress and cause nice recollections...
I reached that with bringing the spirit of Paris in 1920-s, which is provided by a lot of visual reminders - views of Paris - and combination of black, silver and white colours...

The flat has the total square of 46 m2 and consists of 1 x bedroom/living-room, 1 x kitchen, 1 x bathroom and 1 x corridor. It has everything what a nice flat in the center should have: historical building, nice design and responsible owner. Inspite of my respect to more than 120 years of history, as I already said, I didn´t leave any recollection about the age of this place. The idea was to transform this small space as dramatically as possible and create an unforgettable ambiente, which would correspond to the level of 4* hotel without service...

In the BEDROOM/LIVING ROOM you´ll find a huge doublebed (superking size; 200x200), a small wardrobe to hang clothes, a couple of night tables and a wall unit with TV. There´s also a sofabed in the room, which can be pulled out and then transforms into a small doublebed (140x200). It should be pointed out, that I always put an extra real mattress on it, so that the guests can sleep "not on the couch", but on the boxsprigbed. As the floors are covered with laminat I put as many carpets as it´s possible - don´t care about cold feet. One of the walls is decorated with a handpainted tattoo, which is the real eyecatcher in the flat.

The KITCHEN was planed to be a place for chilling and dining. It´s quite huge for such a small flat - it´s almost 10 m2 and actaully can be used as the second room or even living-room. It has 2 main zones: a kitchen-zone and a chilling-zone, which are splited by a huge table. It should be pointed out, that the kitchen is not really suitable for real cocking: it´s equipped by washing-mashin, fridge with freezer, filtered-coffee mashine, cattle, toaster and microvawe. Stove, which you can see in the pictures, is not availbale anymore. Instead of that there´s a modern induction cooking field. Please, don´t expect a top-kitchen from "Vanity Fair", coz it´s not quite neccessary in the city, where you can have an amaing dinner for 20€. The chilling-zone in the kitchen is determined by a huge armchair, which would let you feel absolutely comfortable.

The BATHROOM is actually also very nice. I understand how important it is to have a clean and fresh bathroom, that´s why I rebuilt it completely. So the square of the bathroom is quite limited and besides WC itself, there´s only a bath and a wash-basin here.

I had quite a lot of travellers in this flat and I´m very happy to get their feedbacks to know what can be made better. More than 80% travellers estimated this flat with their valuable 5* - it says much more as all the descriptions and pictures...


A) Party-guests are NOT WELCOME here! Please, ignore this advert, if you are going to celebrate anything or listen to the music at night time etc. The sound isolation of this house unfortunatelly reflects its 120 years old history. As the house is full of well-off retired people and families with kids, I have to ask you to keep it in mind and respect this rule on the proper level.

B) The flat is situated on the 4. floor and there´s NO ELEVATOR in the house. As the house is old, the 4. floor has actually the same height, as the 5. floor in modern houses...

Please keep in mind, that I´m a mother of 2 kids, the keeper of the 100 m2 house, which should be maintained on the proper level and a business lady. With all my great respect to you, I can´t waste my valuable time on greeting guests and carrying their bags...
In 99% cases check-in is proceeded without me.
But in case of any problems you can always leave me a message on airbnb or call...

§ (3) PARKING (3)

There´s a leveled parking near the house, which is located at Meierottostrasse 11. It´s a couple of hundreed meters away. The tarif is 6,50€/24 hours.


Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf is centrally located and is well connected by the excellent transportation system. It’s one of the best districts in Berlin in terms of everything. The demand for housing exceeds the supply. This district is peaceful, safe and central. Nature can be found right next to urban facilities. Due to the upscale living areas with villas and upscale family houses, the neighborhood mostly consists of graduates, artists and senior citizens. Kurfürstendamm - the main street of West Berlin - and Tauentzienstreet are a true shopper's paradise. There's everything from elegant boutiques to discounted designer stores, from specialist bookshops to electronics outlets. The pedestrian precinct on Wilmersdorfer Strasse becomes more and more attractive every year. If you are looking for something really special, you simply must explore one of the many shopping streets with their unique products and personal service.

By the way, one of the best description in English about this district I found in the blog of Joseph Pearson - Canadian writer, who moved to Berlin. Let me just paste a quotation from his blog: "The rediscovery of the Old West is a phenomenon of the past couple of years. I used to think of Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf as expensive, bourgeois, neighbourhoods full of old people. Have you seen the film City of Men? But this has changed. The pressure on housing farther East is making the West increasingly more popular with new Berliners. Charlottenburg has a bevy of good restaurants, art bookstores, beautiful old buildings and good transport links. The area closer to Zoo Station has seen a recent rejuvenation: but note, that much of the hip development, around the Bikini Mall for example, is decidedly corporate in character. That said, if you want to live centrally, in a part of town that is more ‘old world’ - think of areas around Savignyplatz – and where you can dress up as if you were in Paris, then changing Charlottenburg might be for you".

In relation with coronavirus outbreak we decided to prepare the list of neccessary information to show you our attitude:

1) bedlinen and towels are washed with 60° programme: towels go directly to tumble drier, where the hygienic programme is used (the programme with higher temperatures); bedlinen are manually ironed

2) floors in the apartment are washed with chlor containing liquids after every reservation

3) surfaces can not be desinfected with chlor (that would cause damage of vulnerable surfaces), so we use spray bottle with liquid sanitizer
