Waihi Beach is 10km away and all the exciting attractions of the Coromandel Peninsula are only 1-2 hours drive away.
There is plenty of off street parking in front of the Pink house.

We had a great stay here. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. It is a lovely old house and it was a short walk to town. Christine was very friendly, there was plenty of parking down the drive and we loved the period feel to the place.

Lovely place, great host, very peaceful and quiet, very cool room. It was a five minute walk walking to the center of town. The room was huge with high stud ceiling and decorated in character with the age of the house, very comfortable. I stayed there as I has a course in town it was perfect, and beat the places the other people were staying hands down.

A lovely private and comfortable place. Walking distance to town or a two minute drive.

What a delightful, quirky surprise this place turned out to be! From the young 6-toed cat siblings, and the curly tailed, grumpy old gentlemen cat, to the fantastic blonde mannequin in the hallway, the wonderfully comfy bed, the private location with easy town access, and above all, the hilarious and enlightening conversations from John. Such a shame I didn't meet Christine on this visit, but I will make a point of returning in order to do so.

Was a very lovely cosy room. Very peaceful and privacy was respected. John was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and different things to do. The cats were also very cute and nice to cuddle up to would definitely come back to stay!!

We appreciated the historic nature of the house and its interesting bric-a-brac, antique furniture and decor. The place was spotlessly clean and all requirements such as linen, breakfast foods and a substantial range of coffees and teas were available. There is no NZ TV signal, but there are cables available for attachment to your own device for streaming services.

The Pink House is our home. We are used to hosting international guests. I'm a best-selling author and John my husband is an engineer. For the summer we also offer outdoor accommodation in a tent at Windchime Camp.
