Amer was just very hospitable during our staying at his place. He is friendly, aware about everything you need to know and simply stay in touch wherever you need him. The place is cozy and well equipped, you don't need to go for salt just upon arriving. Thank you, Amer!

We spent four days at Amers apartment and had a good time. The apartment has a nice flair and we felt quite home. The bathroom has a nice shower and the kitchen is well equipped. The district is mostly quite and we felt comfortable. It's around 1 mile to "journal square" were the PATH leaves to Newark and the World Trade Center. It's still a walking distance, but we mostly took the buses "10" (journal square) or "119" (to 43th street, next to times square). We met Amer one time and he is a really nice guy. Communication before and during our stay worked well and we felt very welcome.

This apartment was very beautiful, comfortable, clean, quiet, and in a great location. Clarise is so friendly and helpful and kind. Having the washer/dryer right by the door is very convenient. I really appreciate how quickly you and Clarise provided an iron and sleeping bag...Thank you! Next time I visit my son and daughter in law I hope we can stay here again. Thank you again, hopefully we'll get to meet next time :)

Our experience was super amazing! The flat is really cozy and Amer has an excellent taste! Unfortunately he was out of town so we didn't have a chance to meet him but his friend Clarice was super accommodating and helped us out a lot! She is very nice and hopefully we can meet her again sometime :) Overal, i would definitely stay there again!

Amer has a very sweet apartment filled with art and artifacts from his travels. It is not overly large but quite reasonable for 1 or 2 people. We brought our daughter with us and she slept on mats on the floor; okay for a teenager but perhaps not for an adult. We had a long drive to the apartment and arrived around 8:30 p.m.. There was no parking to be found and so my husband had to leave us in the apartment while he went a distance to park the car. If I were a single woman alone I would not have walked through this area at this time of the evening. If you are arriving by taxi or being dropped off this will not be an issue. The walk to the Path trains was about 15 minutes at a brisk pace. We found a diner just before getting to the Journal Square station and it was great for breakfast each morning and a sweet snack at night.

We stayed at Amer's apartment for 6 days in April and we had the most wonderful time there! Cannot stress enough how kind and thoughtful both him and Jill are, and hilarious too! The place was always toasty warm even when it was freezing outside, they left us perfectly at ease in using whatever we wanted (Amer even provided his laptop if we needed too!), not to mention that they were kind enough to pick and drop us off at the airport! Oh and they even drove us to the market to buy groceries!! And the bed...just amazing good to rest our weary bones after all that walking around in NYC. The apartment is really close to the PATH train and it takes just 10/15 min to the World Trade Center station, so it's perfect if you want to visit the Big Apple during the day but want to rest at night! Everything inside the apartment was top notch (the bed sheets and the towels were hotel quality) and its location is close to everything you need for your stay. I highly recommend this place! Thank you so much for everything Amer and Jill, and specially for the amazing first night where we laughed til our jaws hurt :)

We stayed at Amer's for two nights after leaving Manhattan. We wanted somewhere comfortable to hole up for a couple of days and plan our next few weeks on the road, it was perfect for that. Apart from a spectacular run around liberty park we didnt see much of the local area although transport seemed easy enough. The apartment itself was stunning, Amer has fantastic taste. I was a particular fan of the shower. We had everything we needed to cook easily. Amer himself was a lovely warm host offering us lifts and any help we needed (even a couple of beers). For our stay we didnt need much contact but i would have been comfortable asking for it.
