WHAT TO EXPECT?
A newly renovated English basement in a 100-year old colonial townhouse on the H Street Corridor—one of DC's trending neighborhoods. The space is bright and clean with all comforts of a home. There is a spacious living room, open kitchen with island equipped with new appliances and all basics, large windows, and washer/dryer.
Over the past year, we renovated the apartment ourselves, paying attention to every small detail. We hope you love and appreciate the modern, industrial design and unique look as much as we do.
The door has a code, so you’ll have the flexibility to check-in on your own schedule.
The kitchen is stocked with all the basics for cooking: pots, pans, salt, pepper, coffee, etc. There's an iron and ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, fresh towels, sheets, blow dryer, and even a Netflix guest account.
Whether you're staying for just a few days or a month, we've got you covered.
You’ll have access to the entire basement apartment. Guests are asked to enter and exit through the front door and use the back door only in case of emergency. We'll provide you with a code for the entrance, so no check-in coordination is required…and no fear of losing the keys either :)
Interaction with guests
While the unit is completely separate, we live just upstairs. We're happy to give you tips for enjoying the city or leave you to relax quietly.
No other guests are allowed on the property without prior agreement.
Please note that we live upstairs. Even though there's sound insulation, you may hear voices and music. We socialize on the weekends and may have friends over for dinner, producing higher levels of noise. We make the best possible to provide you with a great stay, but hope you understand the situation.
Originally from Germany, my Argentinian husband and I moved to DC in 2010. We instantly fell in love with this city. An international town full of young professionals, we felt home right away and decided to make DC our home. I'm a marketing professional at a software development company, and LOVE my work, but equally enjoy traveling, eating and hanging out with friends.
