Interaction with guests
Getting to King Island: I have attached an information sheet on flight providers that service King Island.
Transfers: We will have a shuttle available and can provide transfers, or outsource them.
Car Hire: The local car hire providers have a wide range of options, right up to 6-12 seater vans for about $200 per day, general car license ok. See: (URL HIDDEN)
Golf: I am happy to book tee-off and include green fees in your rates, cost estimate for Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes is $150 per person per round of 18 holes. Carts $45 per day.
Meals: I can book restaurant off-site at no cost and am happy to arrange an itinerary encompassing the favourite hot spots on King Island.

Some local items of interest (if you have any time left after golf):
•King Island Museum - situated just minutes away from the Currie Light-house, featuring many artefacts including whaling and shipwreck items. Open daily 2-4pm, $7 entry pp.
•Kelp Industries - have a wander around and chat to the locals that harvest the giant bull kelp, durvillea potatorum
•King Island Cultural Centre - Local art gallery featuring items for view and sale including paintings, photography and handcrafts (don't miss the cushions made from feral cat fur!)
•King Island Trail Rides - Offering pony trail rides over deserted beaches on stable, quiet ponies. No experience necessary. Prices from $65.00
•King Island Dairy - pop out to the fromagerie and do a tasting of the world famous cheeses, and then purchase some to take home (open daily 11.30am-4.30pm, closed Saturday)
•Head up to the Boomerang restaurant ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) for a delightful seafood meal with a beautiful view, or grab a hamper from Foodworks (they can even supply a crayfish) and wander off for a picnic
•Drive over to Naracoopa and have a look at the abalone art (made from shells collected from the beach), take a walk on the Naracoopa Jetty, and then have a snack at Berts Café
•Go to Grassy and have dinner at Kings Cuisine ((PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)) and then head down to watch the penguins come in at Grassy Harbour
•Pop in to see Heidi at Isle Inspired and pick up some local chocolate, a cryovac of local aged scotch fillet steak, or even a cooked, ready-to-eat crayfish to take home to loved ones
•Take a half day fishing charter - not just for the boys! Chase the flathead as you follow the rugged coast, or head out to the open ocean in the search for sport fish, call Matthew on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)

I'm a local King Islander, and also the manager of Island breeze Motel and self contained units.
