Once again I had a wonderful stay in Pordenone with Flavia and her husband. They are wonderful, kind and very welcoming people. The apartment is always clean and tidy and they provide anything you may need during your trip including towels, bottled water and breakfast. It's always a real pleasure to stay with them in Pordenone and I hope to return in the future!

It was once again a wonderful experience to stay with Flavia in Pordenone. She is a very kind lady and makes you feel perfectly at home. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean and tidy and a cleaner also came during the week of my stay. Flavia provides clean towels and essential bathroom items. I particularly enjoyed our chats over the delicious coffee and breakfast she prepared every morning. The apartment is two minutes walk away from the main high street where there are lots of cafes, boutiques, chemists and a supermarket. It is also within walking distance of the Teatro Verdi so is a great location if you are attending the annual silent film festival. The apartment building is very secure and has an elevator in case you have heavy baggage. The main Pordenone train station is 5 minutes walk from the apartment and from there you can catch regular trains and buses to Venezia Mestre and the Venice Marco Polo airport. I would highly recommend Flavia's apartment to any visitor to Pordenone. It is a particularly good option for single women travellers and those who enjoy getting to know local people.

This was my second stay in Davide's mother's apartment and she was very welcoming and friendly as I remembered. We were able to communicate well and she made a lovely breakfast every morning. I very much enjoyed our multi-lingual morning chats as I tried to decipher the morning news on the television over breakfast. She was very helpful in answering any questions I had about the apartment or about Pordenone. I had my own bathroom which she cleaned immaculately everyday and the bedroom too was very clean and cosy. There is a desk and wifi in the bedroom which is useful if you need to work during your stay. The apartment is very quiet and is just a short walking distance to one of the main shopping streets where you can find bakeries, cafés, pastry shops, a supermarket and more. I had a fantastic stay and hope to return in the future!

Germana E Davide User ProfileGermana E Davide is a superhost.

We are from Italy, city of Pordenone between Trieste and Venice. Sometime travelling. We like to visit contemporary and modern art museums, to eat traditional food, to read books in the park, to visit modern and contemporary architecture, to discover new music to listen to. Easy, simple thinking, working as engineer (me) and advertiser (my boyfriend). The places we mostly liked in out trips are Istanbul, Delft, Wien, Dresden, Riga, Tbilisi, Antwerpen, Weimar, Cappadocia, Jerusalem, Sarajevo, Tallinn, Leipzig ...

Music means a lot to us thanks to: Sezen Aksu, Soap & Skin, Shostakovich, Aynur, Einsturzende Neubauten, Savages, Anna Calvi, Mozart, Nathacha Atlas, Gabriel Fauré, Pressburger Klezmer Band ...
Visual art also means a lot to us and surely thanks to Munch, Schiele, Kirchner, Jawlensky ...

We are easy going, uncomplicated and always trying to do our best as hosts and hosted!
