The place is perfect to unwind, either with friends or alone. The house itself is surrounded by lush trees with birds chirping on early mornings. This is no surprise as the property's location is at the foot of Mt. Maculot in Batangas. The house itself is a commitment to the concept of naturally blending with nature. The materials used to construct were repurposed hard wood and it was designed by known artist Clifford M. Espinosa of EADE Design. Even in summer time the house stay cool with carefully designed ventilation. Temperature dropped at "cold" level at night time that we felt we were in Baguio and had to use thicker blankets. The place though is not for everyone as it is not a resort nor it will provide you hotel experience. It is highly recommended for those who would like to "unwire". Read a book, play your guitar, sing, play board games and test your skill in cooking by using traditional wooden or charcoal stoves or simply sleep and enjoy the silence, that is what this place can offer. Great for long weekends! It can give you the "art of doing nothing" experience at a budget friendly price. Will be back!

This is a quiet place to spend the night before a hike to Mt. Maculot. It's just a few minutes away from jump-off point so very convenient. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well:)...our only regret is not staying longer because it would be nice to unwind in their hammock...
