Like being in my Grandma's house. Lots of antiques, interesting collections, and the bed was very comfortable. We slept like babies. Very relaxed atmosphere. We were there in winter (cold & about 8 inches of snow). It would be beautiful in Spring and Summer. I'd like to come b…

Response from Kara:
I am sorry about that. They just that day found an apartment to move into the first week in Oct and so had decided to leave to go back home to get their VISAs and other papers in order so they could move up here permanently while her husband is in school here. If I had known beforehand that they were leaving at 4 AM I would have asked them to find somewhere else to stay for that last night. Originally they were to leave about noon Sunday.

Awesome century old house with most of the original interior intact. Kara was awesome and explained where everything was off the get go. She has various beds for different needs which is a plus. Lastly, the double waffle maker works perfect!

I had a wonderful stay! Kara was welcoming, friendly, and easy to get a hold of. The house was great, easy to find and quiet. The room was quiet, the bed super-comfortable - in short, everything was perfect!

Kara met with me when I got there. Showed me around a bit. She recommended some sights to see in Valley City, as I told her I enjoy walking . I enjoyed the airbnbvalley experience and would try it again.
