Good Air BnB base in Worthing for our 5-day stay. Location is great, right in the middle of town close to some good restaurants/pubs and within walking distance of the seafront and the train station. Despite this it was a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

The house is in a great location in Worthing with links to Brighton with a lovely beach and pier just minutes down the road as well as the main high street. Anne was very helpful with arranging check in but when we arrived we were met by a gentleman which was a bit strange (but not a huge problem). He didn't seem to have a huge amount of knowledge and when answering our questions resorted to recommending we (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) it. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the house there was a strong smell of damp and some of the bedding was damp too. There was mould in the bathroom and we thought the whole place could do with a little TLC and lick of paint. Not quite represented in the photographs. There weren't enough plates and bowls for the 7 of us and the kitchen units could do with updating /cleaning inside. Some of the bedding was also stained. We had thought the common spaces would be a little larger too but they were manageable. Would have been a bargain if the small things could be improved - more chic and less shabby! Overall we had a good time, mainly using the house as a base from which to access Brighton, but for a longer stay/a family I feel the place wouldn't be up to scratch.

While this house has a great location it is quite basic, worked well for us for one night but think would have been uncomfortable for any longer

I've been really loathed to write this as I hate to give bad feedback but having giving it more thought I think it's important. I was really grateful to the host for allowing us early check-in but the house was hugely disappointing. I'd booked it for myself and my husband and our young children, and my mum because it looked family-friendly in the pictures. As soon as we arrived we were struck by the smell of damp, the baby's cot had no bedding whatsoever, the whole place was so tired that it was really bleak. The shower temperature was either too cold or scalding hot, the silicon had come off the edge so water went everywhere. The towels were tiny and hard, and the bare minimum was on offer. Inside, the wardrobe was cobbled together and dirty, and the sink draining board was covered in limescale and there was no bin-liner. The whole place felt grubby and unloved and for the price we paid, we all feel really stung.

The house is in a perfect location for visiting Worthing and seafront. The accommodation was perfect for our party of 6 adults. We arrived early and were given access to the house on arrival which suited us really well. Would recommend to a family or group of people wishing to stay in Worthing.
