The perfect relaxing base for walking in the Beacons. The fresh eggs are delicious too.

Fantastic, quirky venue in the heart of the Beacons, a MUST stay! Memorable and cosy even in November.. David was a great host with fantastic local knowledge which made our stay even more special. David even surprised us with some pretty pink roses as it was our 1st wedding anniversary. Which was very thoughtful. Amenities were great, everything you need for a weekend away tucked up in the Brecon hillside with lots of walks and towns near by. We shall be visiting again

Cluckingham palace was a really lovely place to stay! Really cozy, so great for a couples escape or a solo retreat from the city. We loved the wood stove, it really added to the coziness. David recommended going to International Welsh Rarebit Centre for breakfast, and it was really funky and cool- would recommend checking it out for lunch or breakfast.

Beautiful area, very quirky! Cooking is a camping stove so plan what food you want to bring. Loved the place!

Cluckingham Palace was the perfect getaway from London life for a weekend. It has everything you NEED, and nothing to distract you. David was very helpful in providing us with information about local events, and a range of walks in the local area. You're a stone's throw away from Brecon, with it's restaurants and bars, and really near Pen Pont farm store which has a wonderful range of local, free-range food.

We had a wonderful stay at Cluckingham Palace. David was a great host who greeted us on arrival & gave us some great suggestions of places to go & things to do. The location is a perfect base for walking in Brecon & we took full advantage of this. The accommodation has all the basic essentials you need & provides welcome warmth in the colder evenings. Quiet & peaceful with stunning views, we would highly recommend this for solo travellers or couples looking for a quiet get-away.
