My light-filled cozy 1 bedroom apartment is on a quiet block in the middle of bustling Dupont/Adams Morgan neighborhood. Lauriol Plaza is right across the street, and the apartment is just minutes away from all of the restaurants and bars on 14th street. Ask me for recommendations! The apartment is a 30 minute walk to the monuments, museums, and White House, and a few blocks away from the Dupont Circle stop on the Red Line. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers
Perfect for the women's march on washington! Apartment is within walking distance of the mall. If you are coming with a group, an air mattress will also fit in the living room.
One bedroom apartment that is located in the safe and quiet residential neighborhood of Dupont Circle, and four blocks away from Adams Morgan. It is located on the third floor of a WWII-era walk up building that has plenty of character. The apartment faces the street so there is plenty of light!
The apartment has a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom with a clawfoot tub/shower, high-speed Xfinity Internet, Xfinity X-1 Cable (with HBO and Showtime) and a record player. There is a sofa in the living room that you could sleep a third person on, but it is just a sofa - not a sleeper sofa. There are two AC units (one in the living room and one in the bedroom) and heat.
The entire apartment will be yours during your stay. Additionally there is a paid laundry facility in the basement that you will have access to.
Interaction with guests
When not renting, I live in the apartment full-time. Upon arrival, I (or a friend/family member depending on my own travel schedule) will meet you at the place to give you the keys, explain the building and apartment and answer any questions you may have. After that, you will have the place to yourself, but feel free to call or text me if you need anything, run into any issues, or would like suggestions on bars, restaurants, or things to do in DC.
Other things to note
Please note that the building is a walk-up with no elevator access! It is an older building that does not have the same amenities of newer buildings, but has plenty of charm.
- Please treat this house as you would your own. I live here permanently and expect the same respect as if I were staying in your home!
