We were terribly disappointed in the bed and visitors please ensure that this has been replaced as well as new mattress. The stove and oven be cleaned. Linen and towels be pressed after washing as well. The location is ideal and suitable if you want to explore London as it is central and there are many shops, restaurants as well as the bus stops and station are close by.

We stayed at Dan's place for three weeks, whilst waiting for a house purchase to come through. location is great close to 3 overground stations and the triangle shops and restaurants. Dan was a fab host and we loved the place. There is a terrace out of the living room for some outside space or evening meal. We were very much at home. Thanks Dan!

Great place to stay. Great host. Cosy and comfortable with everything you will need. Despite staying for over a month (due to moving house and a month wait for my girlfriend and my timelines to coalesce!), Dan was a brilliant host and answered any little question I had, even helped me back in when locked out one fine weekend day (the curse of the yale lock). Kitchen, yes small to some, was perfect size for cooking and eating everything. Lounge was very comfortable and well equipped (tv, virgin media etc.). Bedroom was a very good size and comfy. Bathroom was good too. Location is perfect for those commuting into the centre of London. Penge West, Penge East, Anerley and Crystal Palace all within 10 minutes walk. The location is only 4 minutes walk up Anerley Hill to Crystal Palace station. Perfect for those lazy and always rushing like me.

Daniel's cosy appartament is higly recommendable. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay in London. Also the Crystal Palace district is a nice residential area with many cool examples of Victorian residential architecture (e.g. superb Crystal Palace park surrounded by grand Victorian villas). The nearby Crystal Palace Triangle offers some nice cafes, bars and dining options.

Daniel is a great guy to deal with and his place is a short walk from the Crystal Palace station which has plenty of commuting options. If you are looking for a place to sleep and have breakfast - this is a sound and cost efficient option. At the same time, it is however a quintessential bachelor pad. For my taste the place is consequently a bit too cluttered and in need of a deep cleaning - if not even a renovation. But that should not put you off if your plan is to sleep there only.
