The space

Enjoy peaceful time at my home in busy Hanoi. It is just 3 km from city centre. By taking the bus No.34, you can get easily to Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, Water Puppet Theatre, Literature Temple, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ethnology Museum...You also can take bus No.17 from Noi Bai airport to my home or from my home to airport. The house is near great shopping malls like Aeon, Big C, Vincom, Mipec Riverside...

The contemporary design of my house brings you a feeling of elegant simplicity. Since it has South Easterly aspect with two sides facing lane paths, it gets natural lights all the time, and so does your room!

When opening your room's balcony door in early morning, you will enjoy fresh air, nice breezing and good views overlooking a military airport and gardens. Vietnamese people's morning activities will make you feel clearly local daily life.

The house also has a nice terrace that is good for BBQs or morning coffee, a large living room and well equipped kitchen.

Since Old Quarter is too touristic and a bit noisy, I hope bring you a comfortable stay in a quiet and safe residential area - some different special feeling you will have in Hanoi

Interaction with guests

I work from home so I can interact with you rather often and be available when you need some advice and help

Other things to note

The house has a kitchen and a living room where you can share with my family members and other guests.

We stayed two nights in Lien's home, and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a separate bathroom just for us, a lovely balcony, and nice little extra touches like snacks and drinks and maps. Lien herself was helpful and kind, giving us clear directions, making us breakfast even at very early hours, and calling us a taxi when we needed it. Be aware that Lien's home is pretty far from Hanoi's old town-- you definitely need to take a bus, taxi, or motorbike into town. Her home is a close walk to the bus, which we took a couple of times and it was fairly easy to navigate (7,000 per person). We actually quite enjoyed staying away from the craziness of downtown-- if you want some peace and quiet, Lien's place is a great option. The other thing to mention is that, for some reason, when we put Lien's address into (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)maps, it took us to the wrong building, and we had to walk around and ask directions before we found the right place. Be sure to ask Lien to specify the location of her house before you arrive.

Lien is truly a super host. She drew a map to show me where to eat, helped with the laundry and even prepared some traditional Vietnamese breakfast. Her room is comfortable and has a very nice balcony. Wifi is very strong. I had a great stay in her house. Highly recommended!

Lien was super nice and it was always easy to reach her when we had any questions. Although the location is away from the city center, we didn't mind it as we wanted to stay in a residential area. Plus it is easily accessible by public transport. The apartment had everything we needed - strong wifi, aircon, washing machine etc. Lien also prepared local breakfast for us which we appreciated! Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to those who are looking for a more local experience!

Lien was truly amazing. A beautiful host with a lovely home. She went over and above in making our stay wonderful, stress free and relaxing. Lien's home is outside the city craziness so quiet and relaxing, just minutes from the Aeon Mall and a very cheap Uber ride to the Old Quarter. Lien is an amazing host, making sure we had everything we needed from dinner, to laundry to advice on what to do and where to go. Was a perfect stay. Thank you Lien. X

Lien is a wonderful host and a great person. Her house is stunning and beautiful. The room was exactly as described, and even more spacious than the pictures describe. Lien did so much for us during our short stay. Perhaps the best Airbnb service I've used so far. Would highly recommend

Dear all,

Thank you for visiting my profile and also for your coming or just an idea of coming to my nice country of Vietnam

I am very happy to be able to release my listings again on Airbnb after 4 month closing because of entire house occupation by an Australian couple (that is why you can see my last review is on March 2016). So anyone who is interested in staying at my house from July 2016 will be welcomed and can consider about or proceed with booking.

I missed my Airbnb business during closing and I would like to offer you better homestay experiences than it was before. You will find peaceful moments when staying at a residential area where my house is located. It is really an escape from hustle and bustle of the city centre.

I hope to see you soon at my lovely house to introduce about culture and people of my country over cups of tasty Vietnamese coffee and may be, over Bun Cha, which was a famous traditional food President Obama ate during his visit Vietnam on May 2016.

Thank you and best regards, Lien
