Cheap place for a couple nights. There was a lot of trash stored in the house, but cheap place with a bed and hot shower for a couple nights.

Good place if you only stay for sleeping and spend your day outside. If you bring big luggage, walking there could be a hassle, thankfully it's on the 2nd floor, but even so, it was pretty difficult to bring my big luggage upstairs. Huge bonus is the nearby Lawson where you can buy anything you need and near Ueno station where you can catch Yamanote line. Yoshikawa-san is really fast in replying any question

The house was clean and comfortable. The host was kind and thoughtful to let us leave our bags in the house before checking in and after checking out.We had trouble finding the location in the first place as the direction provided in the site doesn't show the accurate place and the given pictures weren't clear. Luckily a postman helped us to locate it. Basically you can get down at Ueno station, look for Iriya gate exit and walk a few mins down the road. Another landmark that could be helpful is it's opposite APA hotel (EKC building is in a small street between Lawson and a Kawasaki bike shop).
