I have been using AirBnB for several years and have used it in multiple countries and multiple regions of the world. Mauro's place, and very warm welcome and availability, is the best experience so far on AirBnB.

My wife and I spent two weeks in Mauro's place which sits in the centre of Madrid. It is a nice and convenient location. You can easily access to all kinds of services, underground station, restaurants, theatre, shopping centres...The place is clean and full of facilities. The most important point is Mauro is a very good host and very helpful. He wrote down a full sheet of paper about what to see in Madrid. We enjoyed our stay in Madrid.

Great location, less then 15 minutes walk to central Madrid. Nice area with lovely cafes, shops and street life. Easy walk to metro. Early morning light fills the studio. Very clean, with brand new looking kitchen/bathroom. Noisy neighbours until late night, but traffic noise isn't an issue. Host's father works in shop around the corner and is very friendly and helpful. Five stars.

Much louder than expected, the furniture is gorgeous yet almost everything is unsturdy and about to fall apart. The sheets and towels were "antiqjue" as well. Definitely not as fancy as I thought it was going to be. I would still stay here again in the future just because I got used to all the frustrating aspects. I never told them of my concerns during my stay because I was too busy with school but the father of Mauro who I was only in contact with was very nice. If the small but many issues are fixed, this would be a great place for anyone!

The apartment is exactly as described. It is full of antique furniture and it creates an incredible atmosphere. On the other hand the kitchen and bathroom are new and modern which is very nice too. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and it is very close to Plaza Mayor and metro station so getting around Madrid from it is very easy. Mauro and his family are very helpful during the stay.

We a had a great time in Madrid. The room is in the very center of the city nevertheless the street is very quite. Mauro and his family were very nice and helpful so we don't have any problems with arrival and leaving. The room has a lot of antiquatiate but the kitchen is completely new so staying there was very interesting and comfortable.
