Avi's place went above and beyond what I expect from an airbnb. Not only was the place clean and well-stocked, it also looks amazing inside and is filled with art and books. He went out of his way to make our stay pleasant, leaving us snacks, beer and coffee. He let us drop our bags off well before check-in, and when I had trouble with the key he called me back immediately to help. The location is great, steps from the L so getting into Manhattan is simple and it's surrounded by coffee shops and thrift stores. Not to mention it's super affordable compared to hotels or even other airbnbs.

Avi was very thoughtful and communicative. The place was one of the better airbnb's I've stayed at. Very convenient, I would definitely try to stay at this apartment in the future.

Definitely 5 stars! Avi's place is an authentic artist's loft with amazing and interesting artwork throughout the space. We were very comfortable during our stay in Avi's spacious loft. Transportation was a big plus, as we were able to get into Manhattan in 15 minutes on the L subway line, which seemed to arrive every 3 or 4 minutes. We also enjoyed the many hip cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops within a few blocks of the loft--some of which are even Michelin and Zagat recommended. Don't miss the amazing roof deck. The free, DJ hosted dance party on the roof Saturday night was an incredible and very Brooklyn experience. All in all, a great stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location of this place was easy to locate, it's off the L train and bus. It is surrounded by a lot of art, music, and hangout spots. The interior is an open plan studio with lots of arts to view. Everything was clean in the space, the bed was so comfortable, the rooftop is the best part of this space! This is our new favorite place to call home away from home. And the communication was easy and fast with Amanda we had the best New York experience. Thank you!

The home was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We chose to stay there because it was within 2 blocks of a family wedding. Also it was right next to subway which was convenient for additional sight seeing.

If you're looking to explore Brooklyn or a place that is within close distance from Manhattan, then this is the place. The L train station is within steps from the loft/building. Grocery stores and cafes/restaurants within walking distance (couple of blocks) - very convenient. The Bushwick neighborhood is currently going through a transition from an industrial to a more Art Deco feel, so you'll experience the change over. Avi is a wonderful host and pays close attention to details; very communicative and keeps loft clean and stocked. We stayed here with our near college bound teenagers who are into performing arts, and so we wanted them to get an artsy feel on this vacation. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.

Abi’s apartment is just fantastic: quite spacious, very cool, and exceptionally well equipped. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen contained everything you need and more (from essentials to nice teas and coffee). The bathroom is one of the apartment’s highlights, with technology applied to comfort in a style that I had only previously seen in Tokyo. I won’t say more not to spoil the surprise. The location of the apartment is very good, in a part of Brooklyn that is undergoing a huge transformation and half a block away from Morgan’s metro line. You’ll see some trucks and factories but also organic markets, cool bars with gardens, restaurants and vintage shops. Of course you won’t hear birds singing when you wake up and there are occasionally some sounds but you’re in NYC, right? As a host, Avi has been perfect. In fact, far beyond what is expected. There were chocolates, beers and milk waiting for us in the apartment. Everything was extremely tidy and clean and he made every possible effort to make us feel welcome. Couldn’t have asked for more. In sum, if you’re looking for a wonderful place to stay in NYC, stop looking and book Avi’s apartment!
