This was our first AirBNB and if we were ever to need to be in Brooklyn again we'd come back in a heartbeat. Andrea was so prompt in all communication, especially when we were there. Our flight was cancelled and we had to add an extra night, she was amazingly flexible. She also helped us navigate the subway from JFK! The location is walking distance to the subway and that gets you everywhere else. The unit was completely private including a nice little back deck bistro set. We ate some cheese and wine out there and her mom gave us a fresh tablecloth very attentive. Sweet couple upstairs (but minimal interaction) and prompt host Andrea!

Great neighborhood for walking to sights, parks, cafes and bars. Quiet and comfortable accommodations.

Andrea's family's house is PERFECT. Every need you can think of has been anticipated. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothpaste, q-tips, extra towels. In the food department: plates, cutlery, wine glasses, mugs, coffee, tea, microwave popcorn, etc. Even stuffed animals and crayons stowed away for any kiddos who might visit. Indoors, the wood floors and pleasant decorations are cheery, authentic, and make you feel like you're at home. Outside, the backyard is a beautiful rose garden with an attractive terrace, the perfect spot for enjoying a glass of wine or a simple breakfast from the nearby bagel shop. We met Andrea's family once when her dad came down at the beginning of our stay to greet us and see if we needed anything. But rest assured it's a very private spot and an AMAZING value in one of the best neighborhoods in New York.

Calm and very personally. We stayed as a family and enjoyed our stay. All shops and the whole food, vagan, gluten free stuff available in walking distance. Godd walking distance to subway.

Essentially, you have the lower level of a lovely old rowhouse on a quiet street in Park Slope, Brooklyn. It was a great value and worked out quite nicely for my 18 year old grandson and me as we each had our own private space. It's an easy walk to the subway, Prospect Park, restaurants and so on. The backyard is fabulous.

Really liked the place, just as described. Worked perfectly for our family of 4 to spend the weekend in NY. We appreciated the puzzles and games for our kids. The back garden is so pretty, although unfortunately it was too cool for us to use it on this stay. Everything was clean and confortable. Host Andrea is laid-back and welcoming but also very attentive and responsive. Thank you!

My name is Andrea

I was raised in Brooklyn and love everything about it! We decided as a family to open our doors to AIR BNB. We love hosting and hope you will love Brooklyn as much as we do.

I am managing my parents home for Air BnB; they continue to reside in the upstairs portion of the house. While the space is being advertised as a shared space, the ground floor will mostly be yours to enjoy. We just ask for flexibility in the event we enter to use some amenities (i.e. laundry, basement storage).
