Absolutely lovely home. The whole thing felt like it was taken out of an interior design magazine. The home really speaks for itself, but Maureen keeps it clean and welcoming. She went above and beyond for myself and my guest. Wonderful host! Would recommend if you are staying in the area because the proximity is great for downtown exploration. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return if the opportunity arises.

Maureen's house was perfect for the 4 of us travelling on business and would be good for groups of friends or a family. Clean and with a nice kitchen and a great living space we wished our time wasn't so busy while we were in Ann Arbor so we could have relaxed at the house more. If we have another reason to visit Ann Arbor we'll be happy to stay here again. Thanks!

Maureen was great. Very attentive to detail. House was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Walking to downtown Ann Arbor took about 15 minutes. House looked just like the photos - felt very comfortable. We would stay again!

I knew before we arrived that the house would be lovely but we were continually surprised and delighted by the level of care and detail and thoughtfulness that we found at every turn. We had eight people staying for a long weekend, plus two local family members joining us for dinner, and we had everything we needed. The dishes and serving ware and appliances are all brand new and top quality; it was easy to do meals, and the house lends itself to comfortable gatherings, with an easy flow between rooms. After a long weekend we were still finding charming touches and interesting pieces of art that we hadn't noticed at first; each room has its own character and style. Over all,it just felt light and airy and stylish as well as welcoming and comfortable. We were ready to move in permanently but we thought Maureen would notice. Maureen was, of course, a wonderful host who was very thorough and responsive; we knew that if we needed anything she would be there to take care of it. In short, I can't recommend Magnolia House highly enough. As one other reviewer mentioned, the house is on a rather busy corner, but inside the house you don't notice it at all. And the benefit of the location is that it is so close to everything and so easy to get to. We only hope we will have an opportunity to return.
