1600 square feet of living space in a quiet neighborhood. We just got this house and are working on improving it, but it's already warm and welcoming. We are trying to be environment friendly so a lot of the furniture is gently used and not always matching. There is a covered patio and a backyard. More photos to come of the outside space!
You have access to the entire house, patio and backyard. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 with bathtub/shower and one with a small shower), full kitchen (not fancy but ready for home cooking and baking), dining room, living room, a spare room and a cozy family room. Our belongings are stored in locked closets so anything you see you can use, as long as you take good care of it. We do have a TV but it's not connected, so mostly good for dvds. The washer and dryer work but they're old so it's at your own risk. 3 bedrooms have a queen bed, 1 has a full bed, and the living room has a good pull out couch. Here is a description of the rooms:
Master bedroom: Queen bed, box shelves, preferred access to small bathroom.
'Businessman bedroom': Full bed, large desk and chair.
Guest bedroom: Queen bed, in-wall closet with hangers, iron board.
'Private room': Queen bed, small desk, 'private living room'. Located at the other end of the house so gets more privacy. NB: unless you need more than 4 beds, this part of the house could be closed in the winter due to heating difficulty. Let us know if that's critical for you and we'll have it open!
Interaction with guests
Our house is for rent when we don't live in it, so it will be locally handled by 2 very reliable friends, Julie and Betsy, amazing ladies who both have hosting experience. They will be here for your check-in but then go back to their homes in another neighborhood. You'll be able to contact them if you need any help on the spot.
Other things to note
The driveway allows 2 cars to park right in front of the front door. There is one more parking spot along the front yard. Street parking is pretty easy here!
Please strip the beds that have been used so it's easy to tell the dirty from the clean. Same with towels. All dirty laundry can be left on the floor.
If you have smelly trash (like smelly food leftover, diapers, etc.) please put it in the outdoor garbage bin so it doesn't leave the house smelly!
Also please respect our quiet neighborhood by avoiding loud activities.
